Manually Sort Accounts Order
I need this feature.
This can be done. In the Outlook app, press the gear to go to settings. You will see your list of accounts. On the right top side, press Edit. Now press and hold any account and move it to the desired position. That is it.

Agree, this would make the handling of multiple accounts much easier
Those of us with multiple mailboxes, one of which is primary, do believe that the remaining parts of iour lives would fall into place if you would enable a means for re-organizing the order in which they were listed. Something more than a bubble with a letter or two with which to distinguish them would also be rather useful. Really.

I manage multiple mail accounts via Outlook for Android. Unfortunately the order of the accounts in the sidebar cannot be influenced, so my mainly used mail account is not on top but at the bottom. Furthermore, it is difficult to keep track of the accounts if they are all marked with only one letter in the bubble. Several of my addresses start with a J, so it does not help to have 5 bubbles with a J in the sidebar.
Can we please have a feature where we can re order the sequence of how the email accounts are listed in the left sidebar?
This feature request looks simple to add, and it is 😊
Please empower us more by adding this request
Once again, Microsoft does nothing that its customers require. For the Outlook app for Android there SHOULD be a way of reorganising the multiple accounts on the app, and from easily identifying them. I have to open each one (of 4 on the app) to make sure i am looking at the right one. Come on Microsoft, open your ears and lift your fingers.

Allow us to move the order of the icons for instance if you have multiple email accounts, I want to change the order they are shown.
Please add an option to sort the recent email to show up on the top please.
Possibility to set the order in which the accounts appear on the left in case of multiple email accounts.

I would like to be able to order the mailboxes on the left column. Outlook for iOS.
Hold and drag mailbox icons up and down to rearrange the inboxes as they seem to rearrange themselves when transferring to new devices!

Hi, I currently have about 7 accounts in my Outlook app but I am seriously thinking of going back to the IOS Mail App because Outlook doesn’t allow me to select individual accounts I want to sync automatically.
The problem is that I don’t want to automatically sync some accounts all the time because they are not as important but I still want to have them handy and manually sync them whenever I need.
Also, when I go on vacation I DON’T want my work account to sync to avoid seeing work emails during this time. The only way around this issue right now is to remove the accounts from the app and add them again when I want them instead of just being able to disable the sync just to them while the rest are still syncing messages. Removing the accounts is also not the best solution as it stops syncing my contacts as well.
Having the ability to select what accounts to sync and when will not only limit the annoyance of the alerts (I don’t want to disable just notifications) but also save on battery power as it won’t be working on the background as much to get those messages.
So basically these are the specific features I am requesting.
1- Add a section to each individual account settings where the user can select automatic syncing enabled or disabled
2- Also be able to select whether the Mail and Contacts are synced separately for each account in case we just want to stop the email syncing while still syncing contacts.
3- Swiping down in the main Inbox page will not trigger the sync for accounts that are disabled from auto-syncing, but if we are just viewing the individual account’s Inbox, then swiping down will refresh/sync that mailbox regardless of the auto-syncing mail setting.
4- Default settings when adding a new account should remain as auto- syncing on for Mail, off for Contacts, which is what you already do.
The IOS built-in Mail app already has most of the items I mentioned above, not sure why these were left out of the Outlook app since the beginning.
Currently, you have to delete the accounts and sign in to make them appear in the way you want the mail accounts to appear in the left side and in the settings section. A touch drag feature to move them up and down without having to sign out of the accounts would be great.
Would be very happy if I could customize colors and initial for each email account. Also, would like to rearrange order the email accounts show up on left pane. Thanks!

It would be very useful to be able to rearrange the order and/or color of the mail account icons on the left side bar. Maybe even along with the abbreviation initials
I have multiple accounts and would like to control the order they are displayed when I touch the home button.
