Option to turn off contacts sync when you have multiple email providers. Without this option you get lots of duplicate entries in your contacts in outlook. At present lack of this facility stopping me using this app,

Phone and outlook contacts should have a merge or easier way to edit into one contact that will update both programs! Then both devices would have same info and not 2-4 duplicates!

Just like people on windows mobile, allow us to select only certain accounts. I don’t want my contact list on my phone cluttered with info from my work account. Thanks

I have a personal MSN account and E365 account. Need to identify which is default contacts account. Can this be done today? If not it needs to be available as all my business contacts are going into my personal msn account.

once you use multiple email Accounts all with own addressbooks all known contacts from all email Accounts are displayed in Persons-List.
Not very fancy in case all Accounts have the same contacts in addressbook. So my feature request to have the possibility to select displayed/prefered Addressbook (as implemented in calender)

I have two Microsoft email accounts one personal, one business, and I only want to see personal contacts on the weekend and business contacts during the week. Please make a setting so this can be a selection. The same sort of idea as selecting which calendar you see

Ability to filter the list of contacts in People. I have both an Outlook and Google Mail mailbox linked in Outlook and contacts setup in both mailboxes in the cloud. When Outlook pulls in the data the People area shows duplicates due to the contact existing in both mailboxes.
Need to have an option to select which mailbox the contacts should be populated from and the ability to turn off synchronisation from a particular source.

Many of us I'm sure have moved and consolidated contacts lists over the years from multiple phones and service providers. My contact list is now massively blasted with redundant and duplicate entries.
What about a feature (in app or on web) to scrub all those exact duplicates out and and otherwise consolidate incomplete records (like I'll have John Smith with 2 entries - one with his work number and one with his cell).
Would be very helpful one-off and then as a monthly or annual maintenance task.

When I search a certain name in the "people" tag, I could locate a number of contact records with the same name. However, the system, outlook, could not tell me which directory (s) of the various email account that a particular contact is displayed, making it to be impossible in maintaining a useful contact list.

There should be a way to specify that I don't want contacts added from a specific account. Just like how I can choose which calendars to display.
Or the app should be able to hide duplicates. -

This seems to me to a basic requirement - the current system which allows duplicate records to show makes it almost impossible to use this app - the Apple IPhone app does it perfectly well and so there's no reason this one can't.

I would like to be able to select which contact list I use with the Outlook app. I have 2 outlook accounts - 1 business and 1 personal and I only want to access one of these lists in the App. This can of course be done in the IPhone contact app!

I have 2 outlook 365 exchange accounts, both connected to my iPhone outlook app, so I have 2 outlook accounts. However, the contacts from both accounts get synced together and they are saved for both accounts.
There should be a way I can differentiate contacts between accounts. For example, if I start a new calendar invite for 1 of the accounts, I don't want there to be automatic suggestions for contacts from my other account, just in case I by accidentally include one of them. This is important if you don't want contacts knowing you are associated with another account, or simply for privacy issues.
Thanks,

In the Outlook iOS app you have the ability to have default settings when using multiple accounts. Currently this feature extends to Mail and Calendar but not Contacts.
Im currently using outlook for 3 different accounts, College (Primary) and work for viewing purposes only.
Please add the feature of being able to have more control to settings for contacts for example choosing which account I default to when adding new contact.

I use Outlook with two email accounts and so now my contacts are duplicated. I want to be able to turn off Contacts from one of the accounts since they were simply a mirror of one another.

It would be really nice feature to be able to set which contacts account should be the default one. Just like now already is possible with calendars in the same iOS app.
