Add travel time to appointments and meetings.
Douglas McNeill commented
This would be a great feature. Keep it simple to begin with. A simple selection when setting up an appointment that stated ‘add travel time’ no need for it to work it out just have a scroll wheel where you select the travel time needed. It then adds the travel time as a SEPARATE appointment that is labeled ‘Tentative’ in outlook rather than ‘Busy’.
Automatically block out travel time in calendar from location of previous appointment to next appointment (based on traffic if possible or average traffic at that time) and alert for conflicts.

Need more flexibility in seeing one calendar that can adjust or view various time zones easier
Have alert options for commute time (based on traffic would be awesome!) and an alert for 15 min ahead of when you need to leave

This would be a much valued productivity feature. In my mind you can phase it in and just copy the IOS calendar features for starters. After that you can experiment and test various smart alerts depending on travel time, traffic, means of transport, or what have you. But that is not necessary in version 1
Allow messages to be scheduled for a location (i.e. schedule for when I arrive at home)

I would like there to be some feature that when I check my outlook from my mobile device that outlook automatically knows that it is me and not someone hacking into my account. For the past few days I have received constant emails letting me know that "unusual activity" had been reported on my account. When it has been me the whole time.
Seriously Microsoft, people have been asking since Aug 2015 and is still under review? This is a no-brainer as it makes preparing and organizing your day so much easier.
We often create or receive meeting invitations, however if they are outside the office, travel time before and after after the meeting (be it 10 minutes or 2 hours) are not identified. Not only is it important for myself to know when I have to leave for a meeting, it is also good for other staff to know that I will be out of the office outside of the meeting time. Alerts would be set to the start of a travel time, as well as the meeting.
I know there is Travel feature on the iPhone calendar where the travel time can be manually entered or linked to maps to get a more accurate travel time depending on time of day or week to be travelled. However, travel time is only included before the meeting, which is only half the story! So, I have used it before but can be improved.
My suggestion would be to have a feature that would be activated when a new or existing meeting is changed to 'Out of Office' (I note this is not a feature on the iOS Apps) or alternatively included for any new meeting, there should be a travel time component that can be added before and/or after the meeting, and is a different colour or shading so it is distinguishable from the meeting time.
Travel time should be separate from the meeting invitation as everyone's travel time would be different. I would like to also see a feature, as with iOS, to set manually or automatically if the start and end locations are known (and changed manually if there is a change).
As you can see, I have thought about this feature for a while and would see it as a benefit for everyone. I presently include a second period for travel that sits next to the meeting, but this is not interactive so doesn't change when the meeting is moved, extended or cancelled.

This feature is now implemented in ios Calender and it is great!!!
The best would be:
1. Alert when i need to leave
2. Alert when meeting starts.
4. Integrate trafic information and alert if extended travel time is neede.
Critical for me and available in many other apps

A time to leave alert and travel time visible to others would be amazing!

Also add a "time to leave" alert to events so it can prompt us when we need to start travelling

I believe that the Sunshine app team had travel time integration (before Microsoft assimilated them). Get the code from that team or please use it as an example to recreate that functionality.

When setting up an event it give a place for a second alert that notifies you when you should leave to allow for travel time

Currently Outlook has a reminder feature that provides an alert before an appointment. The reminder presets are 5 minutes/15 minutes/30 minutes/1 hour/2 hours/1 week/2 weeks. These presets are rigid and don't use potentially useful location information.
If I have a meeting far away from where I'll be, Outlook should suggest a reminder based on time to travel.
For example, if my preceding appointment is in the CBD and my next appointment is at the dentist, the following "smart reminders" should appear:
*45 minutes (walking distance from preceding)
*25 minutes (driving distance + parking time)
*15 minutes (rideshare pickup and drop off)

This would allow folks to look ahead for their schedule for the day by turning the crown on the Apple Watch.

This could work much like iOS calendar is already working. So just enter anticipated travel time and then alert accordingly.
Ability to include travel time prior to an appointment or meeting time be helpful. Thank you.
