Notification badges beside "Focused" and "Other" inboxes
How about add notification badges beside "Focused" and specially beside "Other" with a sum of unread emails of all other accounts. When we open the app this will be an quickly way to see that are unread messages in Other inbox.

Config to Allow notifications on a phone/watch for emails that would go into the Focused folder only

I have my email set to only provide badges/notifications for my focused inbox, but it still provides notifications for all messages since the last update.

Hi,
Kodus on the new design?.
One thing that was very convenient in the old design was that the focused / other tab captions had adjacent parentheses with the number of unread mails at each tab.
I'd find that very helpful.Amir

Add Unread count to Focused and Other Label at top when viewing inbox.

When spam emails get past the filter they currently go into the focus inbox. It would better that by default new senders go into “other”. Particularly if you use notifications on your phone for focused email. As otherwise you get your focus email alerts plus alerts for every spam email that is not caught.

Outlook decides which messages are focussed (when I get a notification on my screen) and which are not. Sometime it gets it right but others not so much and I miss something important that I need to respond to quickly. The emails I’ve been missing recently are automated and don’t have my name on it so I can see how outlook will think it is not important but how can I choose which senders/subjects can go into my focussed inbox?

Let me decide on how mail should be sorted. I hate this feature, important mail frequently gets over looked because Outlook sorts what they think should be Focused on.

Hi,
I love Focused/Other views for my personal email, but I want to have it turned off for work email. Right now this setting is global. Could you please make it per account instead?
Thanks,

I made some folders for auto sorting but the alarm does not work once I get new email.
I suggest alarm does work once get other emails to other folders.

Using the Outlook app on iOS, when opening an email that as been put in the "Other" inbox from a notification, it shows "Message Deleted".
When the email is in the Focused inbox, there's no problem. I've disabled the Focused inbox feature as a temporary workaround. -

Most of my important mail goes to the “other” inbox rather than the “focused” but I do not get notification for anything that get categorized into “other” thus, I never know when i’ve received mail.

The focus inbox does a great job of pulling out only the important emails, but I have so few emails in my inbox at any one time, I don’t need the separate inboxes. It works better to just have one. I would like to be able to view all of my emails in a single inbox, but only receive notifications for emails that would have been in the focused inbox.

Focused and Other could have a dot beside them, to show if there are unread emails waiting.

Would love to be able to specify which mailbox has new mail.

It would be great to set the badge count for all emails from a particular account- for instance I want the badge count to be only my hotmail account, not including gmail

Brilliant, love love love this idea.
Would be great to see, at a glance, if there are any emails in 'Other' without having to waste time pressing it only to find there is nothing there.Hope to see this one implemented!

Besides having the option of showing the count as our badge, can you please update the count badges inside the app for the "Focused" email tab and the "Bulk" email tab? That way we know when we are in the app and in the "other/bulk" tab that there are new unread messages in that section of the app
