Disappearing bars in horizontal mode
Please make the bars disappear automatically when in horizontal mode to gain space in iPhone 5
When in horizontal view with all screen for email, increase space for email and reduce space for reply, search, etc by merging the two bottom bars.
When we flip phone to horizontal, it should automatically pick up the email that I currently read and bring it full view in horizontal mode.
Also remove the left and right with bars allowing the text area be as wide as the screen (I use an IPHONE XR)

Please Make top and bottom bars smaller so that there is more space for visualising emails!!!

My company is forcing me to use Outlook. It stinks. That said, can you put the settings icon on the bottom menu bar?
Would like “horizontal inertia” while viewing messages that are wider than the screen.

Smaller devices lose valuable screen real estate when in landscape mode, for example on the SE. Menu icons along the bottom of the screen could resize/display without text or scale smaller.
Fully agree, id like the bar that appears on the left (it shows the list of emails) to be able to hide it to have more space to read email when Iphone is horizontal. I use Iphone 7plus
When you are in mail view on horizontal view, and you tap on the calendar icon on the bottom toolbar it then goes into calendar horizontal view as expected BUT the bottom toolbar disappears so you can't go back to mail without putting the phone back to vertical to see the bottom toolbar again.

Make the bottom menu bar horizontally scrollable so more options can be available, including during multi selection of emails as there options only available when you open a specific email such as "Move to Focused".

Completely endorse this. There's hardly any space for reading on horizontal screen due to two rows of buttons..
