Need a better spell check feature that highlights words not spelled right.
Hey everyone! Thank you for your patience and apologize for any frustrations. While All bugs have been resolved on Apple’s end, the spell checker inside the app is linked to your device and keyboard settings. However, due to limitations in the Outlook mobile app, this feature is currently only available when using the quick reply option. To vote / comment on the spellcheck feature in the compose screen please go to the following link: https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/293349-outlook-for-ios/suggestions/34198510-spell-check-in-the-compose-screen-view
If you have any questions, please contact us inside the app at Settings>Help & Feedback> Contact support we look forward to assisting you. :-)

You need to add an option for customization of the toolbar in Outlook for Mac. The spell check is hidden deep in the menus. This is totally inconvenient.

Spellcheck and grammar is needed for this application. It will be verify helpful if you can add the feature from the original version of office. Also the read aloud option is needed.
:) Dear Feedback manager - thank you for the link we should go to... However, I cannot select and copy the link text :)

There should be an option which allows automatic spell check while writing emails. Pls add this feature.

Please be so kind and harmonize and simplify the different edit menus appearing in the text editors at different places of the app.
Example: A red-underlined typo brings up a different menu in differnt edit window:
1.) In the "quick reply space" at the bottom of a converation, the edit menu offers quick and convenient support by correct spelling - like in most other iOS apps.
2.) In the "full-screen" editor and "new message" editor, the edit menu opening up on typos is a full-blown edit menu where you first have to go to the sub-entry "replace" to get the spell-check done.
All the other functions are useless and clutter, because it's only about correcting the typo this time.
Of course the full-blown edit menu makes sense, but please it should only appear, when it's applicable.
Thank you and best regards,
Muy buena experiencia con el servicio
Excelente servicio como siempre muchas Gracias
Gracias por el servicio
The spell checker, when composing a message, does not work properly on my iOS. It will suggest words as you type but you can’t use the spell check on mistakes underlined in red.
Or can i jist not find it ?
I'd like to suggest an easy spell checking feature, where you can select all the email text and get to spell check prior to send.
Please add Antidote mobile as an add-in to correct grammar and spelling. I am a business representative and as I'm working on the road I don't always have time to flip the laptop out. This would be extremely useful!
There is no option for spelling correction.
I would like to be able to remove spellchecks that somehow automatically get put into the dictionary when I type. Especially the names that suddenly appear in all caps like RITTENHOUSE
Just like the desktop setting please make a default to check spelling and grammar.
When typing on my phone I tend to make more typos than I would like to admit.

It would be great if the app would check spelling before it send messages.
Spellcheck needs major improvement. Iphone spellcheck is better than Outlook. Outlook is very slow and does not recognize words as fast when typing.

Apple Mail allows it’s users to manually check for email as well as timeslots i.e. every 30 minutes, hour, five hours, once a day etc...
Most of the time, I’ve only just cleared everything, and then a load more come through not giving you any breathing space!
Would be nice to have the choice like Apple do give their customers
Spell check would be nice also when you send an e-mail it takes to long.
