When I open the app I’d like to have to enter a passcode or pin code to get in. Just a little added layer of security

I'd give me a lot of peace of mind to know, that even if my device was stolen, nobody could possibly access my emails. Therefore I'd love to have the option to have all local outlook data deleted if somebody enteres the wrong password for maybe ten times. It could easily be restored anyway, but the idea of somebody having stolen a local copy of my entire email account is just terrifying.

This essential security feature (which Spark email has!) is particularity important on iPad, which people often share. And it is so very simple to implement and QA/QC. So. Microsoft, can you please add it to Outlook for iOS ASAP I’m Q2 2020. Thank you! Much appreciated.

Before outlook had a key or password to enter, today they have removed it. You should put it on again.

On my iPhone, all I need to do to access my outlook.live.com email account - is to click on the Outlook mail app.
The Outlook email app is currently designed to never require a password when you open/launch the app. There should definitely be an option to toggle that on/off, where the user sets if a password should be required OR if it will just open and launch their email account without any password.
It’s a no brainer security feature. I assume that option isn’t currently available, because it allows Microsoft to sell higher cost advertising by referencing the average amount of time their users are logged in.
If that’s not the case, I’m curious why this seemingly obvious feature isn’t already part of the app?
Thanks,

With no finger print unlock it needs to revert back to a number code unlock

The older version of this app had this feature. It is an important security feature. Especially if you lose your phone

I would love an added layer of security so that when I open the app I have to put in a passcode that is not related to my iPhone passcode.

On a shared iPad, which now supports two Face ID’s, it would be great to lock the app with a separate passcode that the other users don’t know.

Hoping Outlook could add an lock on the app when open it, for considering the security. Thanks!

It would be nice if there was an option to have a passcode to unlock the email app instead of just opening it. The confidential email weren’t readily available to everyone if the phone was unlocked.

While entering a location at a new appointment, suggestions are presented, but the postal code in the suggestions is incorrect for dutch postal codes. The two capitals are missing (for example 1234 AB instead of just 1234).

Being able to password protect the app would ensure that no one else who uses the iPad has access to my emails, especially important because if GDPR. When will this be possible?
