It would be nice to be able to control what types of items create notification banners/alerts. For example I only want to see calendar reminders but not an alert for new emails.
Allow iOS notifications for calendar items and mail be controlled separately, ie. just calendar notifications, just mail notifications, neither, or both.

I am absolutely amazed I cannot separate email notifications from calendar. Why the heck anyone who is moderately busy would want email notifications defies belief, yet I am unable to get only calendar pop-ups as I do on a pc/Mac.
FIX THIS NONSENSE, MICROSOFT!
I do want to get notifications but only from calendar or to do’s I don’t want notificationes every time I receive an email.
Nice is too kind of a word. Let me reframe it for Outlook. It is essential that users can choose whether to have notifications for email or calendar. As it stands my institution require that I use this app and I'm going to have to find a work around as the email notifications are overwhelming. I am a physician and I get time-sensitive "pages" through my phone now. Those are getting drowned out by all the (bleeping) email notifications. When I'm seeing patients my phone is dinging non-stop from (bleeping) email notifications. I need the calendar alerts to not miss important appts (which happened when I turned the notifications off). These email notifications have to stop! It's unconsciousable that this was initial requested in bleeping 2015 and it hasn't been dealt with in 4.5 years. There is an incredibly simple fix. And while you're making adjustments, I don't want the email on my phone at all, just the calendar. That should be an option too!
Like new emails, a badge notification option for events would be nice.

Allow ability to manage separate notifications settings for email and calendar. I don’t want to see a notification for every email, however I do want to get calendar notifications.

Will be great to be able to receive notifications for calendar and task events, but not emails.
Would be huge! (huge I say...huge!)! :)
Seriously, this would be very helpful.
I would like a feature where I can have notifications enabled for calendar events but not for email.
I get a lot of mail and don’t want a sound with every mail but want to be notified with sound when a calendar event occurs.
Due to work security settings I may not utilize any calendar program except for the outlook calendar.
email notifications are THE WORST. I want to disable email notifications, but keep calendar notifications. Email notifications are annoying enough to make me consider using the native iOS apps.
Need separate Notifications for Calendar and Email. Also need different pop-up style for New meeting requests and upcoming meetings

I'd like to see calendar notifications/reminders on iOS, but not email notifications.

Disable Email notifications but enable Calendar notifications in Outlook App for iOS. Thanks
I only want notifications for upcoming meetings in my calendar. I do NOT want notifications for all the emails I receive. I get so many emails that I have to turn notifications off because it’s too annoying. However, that means I also do not get notified about upcoming meetings. Let me choose!
Add notification option to only be notified when I’m either in the To: field (not cc:) and another option to be notified when I’m mentioned in an email (@mentions).
Yes please exactly what I need.
Different notification mode for calendar.
You can easily miss an appointment when have a list of email notifications.
It would be better to be able to use popup notifications for calendar different to email notifications

I get just too many emails to have notifications turned on, but I WOULD like calendar alerts to be enabled.
Please, please, please make it so that only calendar alerts can be on, with email alerts turned off.
It would be great to turn off notifications during certain times too (weekends, off-work hours, etc.)
need outlook to alert/notify when there is a new meeting other than alerting already existing events... currently there is no way one could get to know new meetings unless the user periodically checks the calendar
