Unread Mail Filter for all Folders
Smart search folder that will show all unread emails from all folders, the same as in outlook for desktop. This feature will be perfect to use with exchange rules.
Ability to see only unread mail on mobile. Either via a search like mail:”unread” or a search folder. Thanks.
I don’t see where can put un opened mail but it would be nice to see ut

Please display a summary of Unread messages in mailbox

Users with large, organized mailboxes using rules miss out on email notifications when away from their desktop. This should be a mandatory fix.
Flipping messages when filtered with unread filter does not works. Would be helpful if you could also add this as a feature.

Need a smart folder for all unread items
Greetings I am a heavy user of Rules on office 365. My rules move incoming new emails to folders I have chosen.
On outlook for windows, I use the Unread Folder on a daily basis, which shows all unread mail in all folders.
I really would like to see that on the web and app versions of outlook.
How do I get outlook for ios to read ALL of my unread emails? Not just the recent emails?
Red badge number notification should show unread messages in all folders but just inbox
Currently this isn’t possible like it is on the desktop client
On my desktop Outlook I apply rules for automatically sorting emails into different folders.
By doing so some emails never appear in my inbox and therefore never appear in the iPhone app. On the desktop app I created an intelligent folder to see all unread messages. I would like to have the same thing for the iPhone app.
Atrocious UI. I am only able to see unread messages from last month and older. Why is the inbox not displaying my most recent stuff? And what is this “Focused” and “Other” nonsense? Just make it like Gmail!
I would like to be able to see my unread folder
With the full version at work at filter mail on arrival into relevant folders and have created an ‘all unread mail’ folder to see any new mail regardless of it’s location.
The iPhone app version does not offer this so I miss most new emails as I have in excess of 100 folders representing people and companies
Can an all unread mail folder be made available?
When viewing an email from the unread mail filter, it disappears when going back to the main email view. Add an option to keep the recently read items within the unread mail item view until the unread filter is removed. This would allow you to quickly mark a message as unread again before it gets lost in your inbox.
Has there been any update on this feature being implemented for iOS or Android by Microsoft?
On my desktop folders will have the number of unread emails displayed next to their name. Why is this not also the case in the phone app?

Oh yes. Please implement the unread-folder from the desktop version in the OutLook app.
Or at least give a notifcation on all emails - not just the ones in the inbox-folder.
I have many folders and subfolders in outlook and in iOS I need to scroll through each folder to see if there’s new email.
If there was an ‘unread’ folder (like the desktop version, this could aggregate all unread emails and save users tons of time.
