.ics extension support
Still we can't open a calendar invite!

Right now, I have to watch the Outlook app sync my calendars that are ICS feeds to completion. If I interrupt the process, it restarts. And, as it restarts, it duplicates every calendar event. Eventually, if I wait long enough, the app sorts it out and deletes duplicates… but I’ve had as many as five or six copies of every event in that feed showing in the calendar before the app disengages its cranio-rectal connection.

“Under review”, at the bottom of the 🗑, apparently.
There needs to be a way to subscribe to an internet (.ICS) calendar. The native iOS calendar app can do this, but not Outlook...

Please! Mail recognized the calendar, but didn’t import it over.

I’ve just had a good experience using Microsoft Bookings which worked flawlessly and even sent me an invite.... BUT it’s in .ics format :-(
My Outlook App on iPhone can’t open or import it. Can you please let your products work together and enable support for .ics in Outlook App?

Did this request end up in a dead thread?! So many posts and no action - really?!?

Good evening I wanted to ask if it was possible to insert the support to ICS files because many emails that I arrive do not let me record events in the calendar.
In order to migrate from apple mail to outlook, this feature is key. Gotten too many complaints and end up switching them back to apple mail. Not the best setup for conditional access.
Oh wow, this has taken a very long time to not happen... such a basic feature too...
So frustrating... why on earth can’t Outlook for iOS import ics files directly into the calendar? Even on the web version of 365 the ics attachments show up with a circle and a slash through them. Nuts.

Quick fix is to import your ics file into Google Calendar then link the calendar to Outlook

The ability to import ICS is very important to me, let’s do it guys 👍

Outlook has the possibility to use this UNIVERSAL calendar file format but Outlook Mobile does not accept.
This makes Outlook Mobile useless as many companies use this format for sending meetings, flight and train times etc.
Please add .ics ASAP so that I can keep using Outlook Mobile with ease.

If this is to be used for business where calendar invites are the norm. Why isn’t this supported yet?
One reason I have to use the iOS Mail-App, unbelieveable why it isn‘t supported

Dear ladies and gentlemen,
It would be very helpful if outlook could directly import information from an ics file and add it to the iPhone calendar
Thank you very much

Please include internet calendar subscriptions in ics support.

Hey Team Outlook for ipad, it would be cool if you could add the feature that Outlook for ipad can process ics files send via email. By processing I mean add the appointment from the ics file to the calendar by opening the file. At the moment I can only download the ics file. Many thanks, Frederik
