Ability to change email Sort Order Within Threads
It would sure be nice to have the option to change the sort order in which the emails appear within the threads. I, for example, would like the most recent email to show up at the top of the list. Currently the most recent email is showing at the bottom.
I was able to reorder the e-mails in a thread by going into settings and turning off "Organize mail by thread" Now the latest conservation is at the top just like it is when I open an e-mail in Outlook on my workstation.
Needs no real comment. Pretty obvious.

I just downloaded Microsoft Outlook and I was dissapointed to find that my most recent emails are at the bottom of the thread. Even more dissapointing is that there have been 1300 comments in this thread, over how many years reagrding this feature and there is still no change on it yet.
I have used other email apps, and because of the above reason these apps are just better.

I have the same complaint. Who in God's name thought that the first thing we'd want to do is scroll all the way down to the bottom of a long thread?!"
When you have a long email with lots of replies, you have tha last reply at the top, right? Why is the inbox forcing the last email at the bottom? Very confusing when going back and forth between laptop and iPad.
I Have to agree even look this topic up because it bothered me so much and I can’t believe it’s already a chat about it.
It needs to be corrected or allow us to customize it please fix this
Please fix this issue. Ridiculous.

This caused some trouble with my mails as I wasn't even aware of sort order. Please change sort order, newest first...
Make possible to choose to view the thread of email from new (on top) to old ( on bottom) in outlook iOS
Really need this. Outlook desktop default to latest email on-top. If you can't sort the order, then at least default it to latest email on-top to be consistence with deaktop.

The fact that the most recent email shows at the bottom of an email thread makes absolutely no sense. There is no other email client that does this and it's a surprise that Microsoft doesn't allow that customization.

I would love for recent posts to be at top of email like every other email client. I have switched away from Outlook for IOS for now due to this issue.
Completely agree we need this! It's counterintuitive and involves opening the whole thread before seeing what the most recent communication was for that conversation
Comical that THESE COMMENTS are sorted newest to oldest, but I can’t do that with your MOBILE OUTLOOK! Can we get the folks doing this web page to fix your app?

Add the feature of Putting the most recent messages on top when Threading. Is an option on the Mail app for Iphone.
Can you add an option so my emails thread from top to bottom, with new messages in the top of the thread and old messages continuing toward the bottom? This is a setting we can do on desktop and it takes me a minute to reroute on mobile.

In conversation view, we need the ability to sort emails from newest (most current) to oldest just as we do in normal office 365.
The most recent/current/newest email in a conversation thread should be at the top of that thread not all the way at the bottom with the oldest one at the top.
This is the same reason why I don’t use gmail without Outlook.
Programmers don’t understand this apparently because the world didn’t adapt to that thread mode when they decided unilaterally that they liked it better.

It is incredibly annoying that my messages can be normally sorted newest on top in the message list but then oldest on top in a message thread. Oldest on top means I have to scroll scroll scroll to get to the latest part.
Maybe the MS-genius that thought that up thinks that the oldest messages in the inbox should be on top too? Getting 200 to 300 messages a day some times. Insane.
Old emails are generally less important than new.
Or maybe the stock price of Microsoft should only show after you see the beginning stock price and have to scroll scroll scroll to the present price to day trade?
The reason they put a summary at the top of a document is to put the most current and important information at the top. Are Microsoft document summaries at the end of documents?
So to help the Microsoft person read this, here is the most important part of the comment... at the bottom...
Fix your app.
Make it possible to organise threads with newest emails on top - like in outlook desktop and web versions. It’s confusing moving from those systems to iOS version.
