Ability to change email Sort Order Within Threads
It would sure be nice to have the option to change the sort order in which the emails appear within the threads. I, for example, would like the most recent email to show up at the top of the list. Currently the most recent email is showing at the bottom.

Please get this done. This is a very basic feature that's been missing for a long time.

Why is this taking so long? I was using Microsoft accounts on gmail and they work fine. I'm giving a shoot to outlook but this a basic feature and it is very anoying not having it!

Agree having to scroll to bottom of long threads is cumbersome.

This needed to be added years ago, the Outlook app is terrible compared to the native mail app on IOS. It needs the following features immediately:
1. Sort order
2. Ability to pick system ringtones as alerts
3. Background refresh so when you open the app, it doesn't immediately scroll a bunch of emails to the top. -

Latest emails NEED to be on top in the Outlook iOS apps. PLEASE give us the option. It is so confusing to not be able to organize by thread and have the latest emails showing on top.

Adding to the request. Please fix this. It leads to errors in understanding.

I keep getting adds in Microsoft Outlook Windows to try the Android and IOS version. Every time I try the IOS version I uninstall it in short order, the most recent email replies at the bottom take forever to scroll through and makes reading email an unpleasurable chore. Apple's Mail for IOS has a toggle in settings to switch reply sorting order. I wish Outlook for IOS would have a similar toggle. I would use the app then. Until then I will use other mobile email clients. It is like MS is trying to make the Outlook client terrible on purpose.

Outlook iPad app is trying to emulate the confusing features of gmail. In trying to be helpful, it is not. Within an email, the latest additions are now at the bottom which causes constant scrolling. We should be able to have the content organized from top to bottom with the most recent at the top. As it is on the pc app. Also please do not read my email to make suggestions on what to answer.

Seriously? Who is the UX genius at Microsoft that thought it would be helpful and intuitive to buck 30 years of email convention and blaze a new trail by placing the most current email in a thread at the bottom? Please pull your head out of your *** and at least provide a switch so that everyone can promptly turn this useless fuckery off.

Show the most recent message first.
I don’t know if this is a problem with Jira or Outlook or the combination of the two:
It is currently too difficult to find the most recent message in a Jira message chain because each message is repeating the message it is responding to. The original old message is shown first and over and over. So I can’t find the new message from my iPhone but wait until I get to desktop PC to see what the mail said.

Go back to showing the latest message when you open an email. For some reason it’s scrolling to the original email and you have to scroll down to read reply. Just show me the reply. If I wanted to see the thread I would turn conversation thread on. Thx.
