Ability to perform an advanced search on emails with frequently used parameters like :
- Date Range
- subject line
- by folder
- with attachment
- me as recipient: to or cc
Search folders. I can’t see any of mine on the Mobile version. When you click your picture, I would like to be able to see my folders in the same format, order, everything, as my desktop version

When searching results are a few of all possible emails so the search results provides no help. Please make possible search the whole inbox at the server side and display results in the mobile app.

Mail search is not effective in iPad. If you could improve search feature it would be really helpful

Improve search function in order to search more than people.

Add search strings to search functionality so it is possible to search for something very specific.
Example: In outlook desktop version you can search for cc:person, which will provide all search results where person was in cc.
There are several search strings in outlook desktop version, all which make finding a specific email much easier.

In search mode not showing much mails and it hardly shows for 1 weeks mails. Pls include to display for atleast for 1 years
You should have a way to Check your recent emails and use them very simply and quick search for them or figure out where they went they could be like right there
The online version of outlook does the same thing as the app of iOS. Maybe it is different on different platforms. My outlook actual program on my PC works a bit better, but it is not even close to consistent.
Fix the search feature when searching for email subject. When I search one time I may or may not find what I’m looking for. It maybe a search by email address or subject, but most times it gives me different results. It totally irritates me and I am about to go away from exchange and away from outlook if this feature can’t be improved. Maybe I’m using it incorrectly, but it seems to be terrible.

Most of the iPad users use Outlook, and its really ironic that iPad Pro are such beasts in terms of performance whilst the search function in Outlook iOS is primitive.
Having such powerful mobile devices now (iPad Pro, Samsung Note, etc) one expects feature parity of Outlook on mobile devices versions as that on Desktop.
So I would also request strongly to enhance the search function in Outlook iOS and all mobile versions to be as powerful as Advanced Search function as in Outlook for Win/Mac.
iOS mail app searches all mail. Outlook mobile only searches back 10 days. Almost worthless search function.
Easy way to improve search results (and fix many problems that are up for votes here): change default email search setting to ‘Emails’ instead of ‘All’. ‘Emails‘ brings up useful timelined list of emails containing the search word. ‘All‘ brings up random ‘top results‘ that are useless/misleading - aren’t even in date order - hugely confusing (leading to many people’s problems here!) And it’s bizarrely not possible to change that default setting. An easy fix!
When searching allow the notes field to be searched as well.
Improve mail search functionality & user friendliness in outlook messages to the same level or better as in apple mail
Can’t believe this does not have even more votes. The search is bad, for I need to switch to gmail to do my searches.

In addition to a regular search among emails (eg sender; subject; attachment etc), add a feature to allow for a more detailed search such as a combination of sender + subject; multiple words; time period; etc.
In addition to the global search already in place, it would be very helpful to be able to specify a folder and search only within it.
Have a mail search so we can find specific sender
I receive emails that get marked as junk but are not junk. The search option does not find anything labeled as junk. No one wants to scroll through junk emails to find one email that should t be there.
