It would be nice to turn off notification on a scheduled (or geofenced) parameter. In other words if I’m home from work and with my family, I would like to not receive notification over night. Maybe you could allow a VIP list, too?

Nothing worse than getting an email on your day off, when you can’t do anything about it.
So allow people to select the days they get notifications (and ideally show / hide unread message count!)

It would be great if the notification quiet hours were added to the outlook app similar to the Microsoft teams app which gives you the ability to schedule quit hours/days. When I’m off work or on vacation I don’t want to have my phone buzzing or notifying me of unimportant emails.

It would be great to be able to select certain times of day when I do or don’t receive email notifications rather than having to do it manually.
For example, I’d like to receive email notifications only between 6pm and 8am as at other times I’m at my desktop pc.

Excellent idea. I was going to suggest this, but found this. Slack does this. Allows you to set notification schedule as you described. Pls implement!

When away on vacation, I would like to disable or pause new inbox email. Today, I delete the app or turn off notifications, but what I really want is an on/off switch for quiet times.

Since I use the app for my professional account only, I would like to define mute times (e.g. weekend or holidays), where I don't receive any new email on my phone. The app would not show, that there are new messages (no indicator at the app icon and also no push notifications). When the mute time is over, I might receive one push notification like "in the meanwhile you received X messages" instead of a single push notification for each message.
Maybe it would be also good to define exceptions for emails from certain addresses, which I can receive despite I have an activated mute time

Can we please have an option that turns off notifications after or before certain times? I believe in work-life balance and when I leave work then I’m officially clocked out. I don’t want my phone blowing up with notifications after 5pm or before 8am.

Be able to select the time of day to receive notifications and the time of day to stop notifications. Basically set your email to not notify you until you’re back in the office or when on PTO.

Just like on GroupMe where we can pause notifications for a certain time period, it would be nice to have that implemented on Outlook. This would give us a peace of mind when we’re off the clock or don’t want to receive a bunch of emails.

Temporarily shut off email delivery. Want to turn off while I’m on vacation so I am not tempted to look.

I would LOVE the ability to silence email notifications on a preset schedule. I have searched all over for an app that can do this and I have yet to find one. Currently I have to manually go into my settings and turn off outlook notifications when I am not working. This would be an awesome feature!

I would love to only receive notifications during specific hours so that I do not allow my email to dictate my schedule

In “Mail” there is an ability to have only notifications for certain email addresses. It’s a really handy feature to not have notifications for every email that comes through.

The ability to set a notification window for Outlook on IPhone such as to disable emails after 5pm on Friday and not enable until Sunday at 7pm. Or from 11 pm to 6 am every day not to wake you up at night.

Love the Outlook Mail App!
I’m self-employed and on 24/7. However I also have small kids. And just decided that the weekends will belong to my family.
Would love to be able to switch off the mail push from e.g. FRI 22:00 until MON 08:15 (after my morning run) to not be distracted with work emails.

Need the ability to manage notifications for Meetings and Events differently from Messsages.
Want to be notified of meetings and events, do not need to be notified of every new email. -

If through a setting we can disable or enable the notifications for a specific time span, that would be great.
It will help user to avoid unnecessary notifications on the Mobile. -

Ability to pause incoming messages for accounts. For example, I don’t want to receive mail on the weekends when I’m off. Not just notifications.
