please add this feature Microsoft!!! i have this thread book marked and every month I come back to this thread praying to see some sort of official update status.....so many important emails are getting missed because we have ocd and like to stay organized by using rules to send emails into automatic folders -______-

I organize by incoming emails in subfolders because it makes sense. However this app fails to notify you of new mail that doesn’t arrive in the inbox which is ridiculous. I’ve missed emails from my VP because I didn’t realize the email had even come in. This item should be further along than the “under review” stage. There are well over 12000 votes for this feature and over 2600 comments. The least you could do is update the people interested in this feature.

Update folders automatically instead of having to open each folder to see if you have mail. I miss out on tons of emails because the app doesn’t push notifications and refresh folders. Folders keep emails organized but they are no good if it doesn’t update automatically

What’s the point of reporting problems with outlook app for iOS? This has been an issue forever and Microsoft is just ignoring us. With iOS 14 now, Microsoft is expecting us to use this app as default email app. Can’t do it with this most important feature is missing.

I have rules on my Outlook account that automatically sort incoming emails into sub-folders of my inbox. The problem is that when these emails arrive, there is no notification on my iOS devices, and the only way I know if one has arrived is by opening a particular folder and waiting for it to refresh. Often miss out on important/urgent mails.

This needs to be addressed. I have a ton of clients in subfolders to organize them, and I'm not getting notifications like I used to - had an issue with a client's site yesterday that I was completely unaware of until this morning because Outlook for iOS is missing a standard feature.
I tried moving them out of the subfolders and had the same issue as well. If it's not directly in the "Inbox," there is no notification. No excuse for this.

Would like to get this feature. Have a lot of important emails flowing straight to a subfolder and would like the push notification in the mobile app.
