What's the point of having subfolders if you never know when uou get a mail.
One of the things that also irritate me is that you have to manually update the subfolders as well. -

PLEASE I spent so long organizing my inbox so that everything important went to subfolders. Now I only get all the unimportant emails as notifications. Is this some kind of sick way to get us to buy a dell computer??

Quando una mail arriva e viene spostata in una cartella grazie ad una regola, è fondamentale ricevere una notifica anche per questa mail! È assurdo perdere delle email perché arrivano in delle cartelle!

Please, please, please. How could this not be default, so disappointing! I'd be so happy.

Have a notification when an email comes in and goes to another folder. Right now you have to go click on each folder to see if something new is there.

Notification for all new emails from all folders not just inbox.

I use the nine app and is the best sub folder management system. Unfortunately, my organization starting next year is banning 3rd party apps from accessing company email. Outlooks needs to adopt similar technology from nine folders email app. Also, I can’t stand split screen view on iPad... if there’s a way to change layout, please add.

Better controllable arrangement for folders and allows users to set up notifications for any folders. (Like badge on iOS app and website) Because sometimes there will be tons of important emails coming from one place.

I suggest the badge count and notifications also to include emails that are automatically moved to other Folders as per user established mail rules. This way if new mail has come in and is automatically sorted into a folder other than the inbox, as long as it remains Unread it should have a badge on the Outlook app icon and it should also initiate a notification for iOS notifications.

This is the only mail app that I’m aware of though there are probably others that only push notifies on the inbox. It renders rules for folders that are high priority ineffective.

If you use the rules to presort emails in outlook they do not push thru to a notification on your iPhone. This is major flaw that has been going on for years. I get notifications on every other app. How does Microsoft not have this fixed.

if you guys can't develop then learn from Nine app. They have the feature which let you start your app in unread folder which basically covers all the subfolders like outlook PC ! This is really high time. I sent a mail to outlook help 2 & half years ago. I then researched and got onto Nine for android and now just shifted to iOS. Nine for iOS is not supported by my company exchange account and now I am back in the soup !! OUTLOOK JUST DO IT !

After setting the rules, notifications of new mails automatically moved to folders don’t work. Can you solve? Thank you in advance.

I’ve set up some rules to send some emails directly to one of many subfolders.
Unfortunately The Outlook for iOS app doesn’t notify me about such emails. -

I have several sub-inboxes marked as favorites and rules to move new mail into the appropriate folder. However, when new mail is received into one of those sub-folders, the number of unread mail doesn’t refresh until I enter the folder. In addition, I’m not notified for those emails.

I love the Focused/Other inbox functionality to help me balance urgent emails and FYIs. I like that I can train my personal model by moving emails into Other when they're not high priority. I wish I could do this on mobile (where I do most of my email sorting) rather than only on my laptop, as seems to be the case.

If not atleast the unread folder should show all the unread messages including subfolders

Can you add notifications for other inboxes than only the main Inbox. I currently have three other inboxes to separate my mail and I have no idea without manually checking if I have received an email/reply
