Self-explanatory. Emails filter to inbox subfolders. Currently, I have to open each subfolder to get it to update. This should happen via push and provide new message notification.
What's causing the hold up? This has been a problem for so long.
May I suggest a push notifications for folders and sub-folders.
Currently the app does not support yet push notifications for folders and sub-folders.
There should be an option to allow badges/notifications for custom folders in Outlook for iOS and/or Outlook for Android. I organize emails by creating custom rules to sort emails as they come in, but this prevents notifications from activating. I have been told this is due to the fact that my Inbox never "sees" the email.
It is frustrating that this option is not available, especially after seeing how many other users would appreciate this functionality. I have Google searched for a workaround and see that this functionality has been requested by users many times since 2018. I have not been able to find a workaround for this problem.
Adding this functionality would help users with organization as well as to help keep them up to date as emails come into their inbox.
iPhone 8 please
Please this feature is very important!!!
Only Inbox new email can get prompt, sub folder don't have this function, miss important message because of that. 【IOS】
Agreed. Please make this a thing.
Charge this please!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update the app to allow push notification on sub folders. I have over 30 sub folders set up on my email with rules for each and every one. It is impossible to have to open every folder just to see if a new email has come into that folder. It is very time so aiming and frustrating to try and operate a business across multiple states when utilizing the app. This should be updated ASAP.
Deleted App until this is a feature. Back to using IOS Mail
I added a new folder to my inbox and once an email comes through I do not receive any notifications. The first day this was added, I did receive notification badges and sounds, but quit the next day and hasn’t worked since. This added folder is crucial for my daily work activities.

Adding sub-folder mail notifications is absolutely essential. It is there in native mail apps on android and iOS. Thus it’s surprisingly not present on Outlook.
The neglect of adding this feature is crazy.
Hey, look, powerful organizational option for your desktop client!!
Mobile: Oh, we will just completely ignore that feature affectively ruining your mobile experience if you use it!
I have never understood why any mail app with the option to use rules for mail organization doesn’t include an option to push and receive notifications for sub folders!!
But, here we are with the Outlook app. I have my O365 account setup to organize all my emails (for my work account). I would say 90% of my email lands in a sub folder by rules. And I can’t get a single notification for any of them. Am I to just discard my rules and therefore kill the organization of my mail? Am I to run rules manually?
It’s crazy to provide powerful features on the desktop side that effectively kill the use of what could be powerful mobile companion app. But, that is what has happened. I must manually check individual folders for email when on the go. This is time consuming and really just makes mobile email useless for me. Surely I am not alone.
Bir şirketten yada kişiden gelen mail i kural oluşturarak ayrı bir klasör içinde grupladım.
Yeni bir mail gelip gelmediğini klasör içine girmeden anlayamıyorum
Herhangi bir uyarı gelmiyor
Klasör yanında yeni ileti mesajı çıkmıyor

Enough is enough
Before you leave work uncheck the rules you care about being notified about. This will cause the email to hit your inbox and give you the notification until MS can support sub folder alerts on mobile devices. Its a bandaid but it works.
