Rules Setting
The ability to see rules and create rules for an entire domain. I frequently have emails from users within my domain that make it into the non-focused inbox.
I would like a way of forcing all emails from my users into my focused inbox.

I am an attorney, and I manage lots of cases. In order to track correspondence on a case, I insert a specific name or number in every email subject line associated with a matter. And to keep my inbox from requiring constant organization, I have rules which automatically sort my incoming mail based on the keyword I use for the case. When I do this, however, I am not able to receive e-mail notifications on my mobile device unless I turn the rule off on the web app or desktop version of outlook. It would be ideal to still receive alerts for incoming messages while still being able to see the message was routed to the appropriate folder. Otherwise, I would spend probably twenty minutes a day constantly moving emails to a specific folder. And because I cannot control what a sender places in the subject line, I cannot simply trust the search function will capture all relevant emails on a given matter. The folder is a necessity.
Thanks for the opportunity to share a request!

As experience, when we apply the rules to inbox to direct mails to created sub folders, it'll disable the IOS & android new mail alert. Since it's a critical matter please help us to solve this issue. Manual workaround won't help this.

Everyone gets emails flooded everyday. These rules settings need to have an option of skipping inbox and go directly to the folders with categories/label in place. Instead of being in the primary inbox

Need to have rules created on desktop version of Outlook be applied to the iOS mobile version. Working remote and having emails that need to be moved makes it difficult to sift through. Please add.

Currently the only way to see how many unread emails we have in sub folders is to click on each and every sub folder. After the app loads emails from that folder, we get a count of unread emails showing up in a folder notification badge. We should have a feature that would keep these up to date.
Use case: We power users *want to scroll quickly through our sub folders, finding one that has unread emails. We click on the sub folders, quickly scan (knowing it pertains to a specific sender) and can quickly mark all as read using the “mark all as read” ribbon feature.
Basically unread count badge in sub folders being updated without clicking on each sub folder, will result in a very organized and extremely quick review of unread emails. Organizing first by sender (through rule/folder management) then by unread is fast and efficient.
Thank you for considering this feature request.

Rules in the app would allow the user to specify a sound and vibration for a sender, subject or content.

I as user I want to have a possibility to create rules for certain email address, folders, etc. This functionality already exists in the PC/Mac/Web Outlook application.

The mobile version is extremely stripped down. I get it. However, it is a large app that is not customizable enough. Currently, I log in on my laptop (I rarely ever use it anymore) so that I can edit rules. Huge time waster. I don’t yet see any advantage using Outlook on my devices. The default mail app that comes on Apple products has the same, if not better, features as mobile Outlook. I chose the app based on my experience on the more robust desktop version. Just fetching mail is what they all do. I can’t say I “like” it because it is so BASIC.

Yes! Please make it easy to create rule(S) to (a) move all emails from any other email apart from one email address, to be marked as read and automatically moved to a folder and (b) make it easy to tag emails (not spam but inter-department emails) from certain senders to automatically be marked as read and moved to another folder. Thank u

I used to have all my e-mail addresses linked to my primary Office 365 business premium account. That way every arrived in one inbox, and it was quickly and easily able to sort through everything, create categories, move e-mails to appropriate folders, create rules etc everything was quick and easy. It synchronised flawlessly across all my devices. I was one my primary reasons for purchasing Office 365 business on Office Exchange. As of approximately a little over year ago this linked option is irrationally no longer possible. Instead one must create several inboxes on all one’s devices. Subsequently all the inbox s now have several folders. Categorising and moving to the appropriate folders in the main directory, creating rules etc is now impossible. Currently my only option is to manually move e-mails within the desk top app when in the office. What was quick and easy over has become a messy jumble, and finding messages has become much more cumbersome and time consuming. Likewise, this unlinking of e-mail accounts and creating individual ones has subsequently created several individual calendars and contact lists. They can’t even be deleted! I can see that some people may want one set for business and one for private, but this isn’t necessary in my case. I simply mark my private appointments as private and keep the overview in one calendar. The MS help-desk was useless at helping me find a solution. I hate the ridicules inflexible new system. Microsoft should provide its clients with sufficient flexibility to work in a way that best suit them.
