Too much screen real estate is wasted when in the reading view.
There should be a button to allow for full screen reading mode, once in full screen all other UI elements should be minimised, allowing the email content to fill the screen.
The wasted screen real estate is especially evident when reading an email in landscape mode on the iPhone X.

The Microsoft Outlook app would be so much better f t had the full functionality of the main website going through a normal computer (PC). Please can you perform a massive update that consists of this and all the other features people are suggesting ASAP. Also, the beta version of the desktop version online is worse than the current one excuse it is more cluttered, less user friendly, less functional and less easy to use. And also cut out all of the adds. I thought the upgrade from Windows Live Hotmail to Outlook (.com) was meant to add free. Please can it be add free. Come on guys, wake up, this really isn’t rocket science.

Hi, it would be great if it is possible to read emails in full screen, e.g. when you scroll in an email, the top and bottom bars of the app should disappear, so that there is more screen space to read the email.
This suggestion has been posted many times here and the Outlook team has marked it as Completed and advised that we should contact technical support. Please note this is a product improvement suggestion and please do not mark this as Completed, unless you implement the change,Thanks

When opening an email, need to have the possibility to open the email in the whole iPad screen and not only one half of it. Even when you turn the iPad vertical, you can see the email alone but it does not cover all the screen, only 70% of it.
When opening emails on landscape mode/horizontal, you can not get rid of the folders view and use the whole screen to read and answer emails. -

The bottom and top bar takes up 30% of the screen. It’s like viewing your mails through a letter box. I would like to use all the screen when reading mails.

I would like to suggest a feature in iPads. When we open a email it shows the email list on left hand side and on right hand side it shows the email description. Can we please have a feature where we have the option to open the email on full screen when we double click a email ?
This would be of great help as this feature is there in desktops but not on iPads I feel.
