Please, I would like to have a sorting criteria for my contacts. So I could choose the criteria surname/ given name.
This feature would be very helpful for me because it has also an impact to my Exchange contacts. There should exit the same sorting criteria for Outlook for Windows and Outlook for iOS.
In the Windows Version you have also both sorting criteria.Thank you!

Contacts are listed in alphabetical order by the contacts FIRST NAME. No one remembers contacts by first name nor do they have them listed in ABC order by first name. Please change this to list them in ABC order by their LAST NAME. Thx.

Hi,
When I want to add a file as attachement in a new email, the file list is sorted by date, from the most recent to the oldest. I’d like to get a list sorted by name.
Thanks ! -

Please allow contacts to be organized by last name. Or provide that optionality. This will facilitate sending emails and messages. Also contacts are better if they are not under the search feature

Suggest to add a button or option that contacts can be sorted Name first, then Given name.

Does the 09/06 iPhone Outlook app update include a "last name first" option? Cause if it doesn't I am not using the app.

Yeh, yeh, another update but still no "last name first" in contacts. Won't use the app until there is.

Would like to be able to have the option to sort by last name. It currently looks like you can only have a first name sort.
Also, I’d like to have an independent access icon for contacts instead of being limited to the search icon, which makes it cumbersome since that searches email, calendar and contacts.

Please don’t sort contacts by Prefix. It puts most of our contacts in M.

How can this be under review. If I’m looking for somebody whose first name is Joseph or Daniel I’m having to go through 50 60 or 70 names before I can find my client. Again this is insanity !!
NM made a mistake in implementing this software before making sure that the contact feature works in a logical way.

Please add a feature to sort contacts by last name first on the iPhone X.

This would make it consistent with the option in the browser. Also there’s a problem in that the iPhone contacts app sorts by last name, the Outlook iOS app by first name, so it’s hard to compare the two. Either you or apple need to add this option to sort by either for or last name so that contact lists can be compared. Thank you.

Yeh, yeh, another meaningless update but no last name first sorting for contact. Please explain to me how anyone can produce a contacts app that doesn’t offer last name first sorting. You offer it, then I’ll start using your Outlook iPhone app and only then.

Please add 2 selectable options in settings of the Outlook App:
1. List contacts as follows:
a) First name Last name
b) Last name, First name
2. Sort contacts as follows:
a) First name, Last name
b) Last name, First nameThe appearance and listing of contacts should behave in the Outlook App according to these settings.
This is standard in many other contact lists on iOS (e.g. Telephone App, E-Mail+) and should also be possible in Outlook.

In Windows Outlook you can sort your contacts by their last name. I suggest that you do the same in the iOS app to.

Lots of folks keep suggesting “last name first“ for contact sorting. You say you listen and like to hear from us but no change.
