"Even when a photo is set for the contact (either by the user or by the contact himself), the photo doesn’t show up on the mail list and the mail reading pane: we only have the initials in circles. However, the photo show well in the contact details pane."
-- Agreed, the user picture is not shown in the Outlook iOS message list, but when I tap the user's name the contact shows up and displays the picture. But not in the message list. Would love to have user pictures actually display in the message list instead of just initials.

I have many email accounts - I'd love to have Outlook iOS apps to have the profile picture of my O365 tenant to funnel through to the app... this would be SOOOO helpful... Or I could use another Mail app, but who wants to do that? You might just lose me to the competition...

When sending a calendar entry to another person the entry in calendar shows who the organizer is. Can this be optional as it makes the calendar look too busy.

After installing MS Outlook on iOS I lost profile photos in my contacts and in the dialing app as well.
Contacts only via search function is not good.
I miss the ability to switch between applications while composing e-mail -

Sync both ways. As simple as that. The newer picture will appear and stay. ******* from iOS, Android, outlook.com website or even Outlook desktop application.
Also option to sincronize all contacts or keep a picture sincronized with some app or apps (iOS contacts, Skype, Android Contacts, WhatsApp, Viber, etc... with on and offs triggers)
To septics even after open this option, picture of a contact could be lock (with a lock icon), some way you can lock a titke or a poster on Plex.tv in each movie. Movie information can be edit and lock or just open to be sync with imdb.
Infornation and info date are very powerful tools to take advantage to keep the last one on. Even work with translations. From english to other languages. Keep in english before goes to your national language.
Also could use in outlook apps, web and desktop a lock icon, for each data of database.
More ways to keep everything up to date is a must.
Use it.

Add pictures to contacts and present them in folders e.g. Inbox with their names. Add the possibility for using OneDrive pictures.

With multiple emails all having the same avatar it is impossible to distinguish between them. Need to be able to assign a unique avatar for each as many other email apps do.

Have an option to display emails in Inbox as just sender and subject without including a preview of the body.

Would this switch the faces in our inbox next to email from outlook profile pictures to whatever picture we have assigned to that particular contact? This way we could see the contact's picture next to our email from other email addresses beside outlook and we could be able to choose the picture we see when receiving an email from a particular contact.

Can I disable downloading contact photos over data? Otherwise I like the new feature.

Is this a new feature? How can I remove? The images take up valuable space on the device and aren’t needed

It would be ideal for contacts to work the same everywhere, OWA, Outlook for desktop, metro, Outlook for iOS.
When on Outlook for iOS, pushed contacts do not push images. I no longer use Apple Mail on my iPhone, use this is a BIG miss.

We want people to easily distinguish who are we emailing or contacting. We heavily rely on outlook and office 365 syncing. Actually you might want to consider making contacts a stand-alone, feature rich, app that can be used in place of the iPhone phone app.

While displaying the inbox on the app, the contact's picture should be displayed to the left of that particular contacts email. Simliar to the way it is displayed when logging on the web.
