Show Unread Mail Count per Account
It would be helpful to see the unread message count for each separate account on the accounts menu in mail view.
If we have a inbox and some other folders under inbox for a designated person/s then the unread email count on outlook icon doesnt show the emails unread in that folder . It only displays the hbread in main inbox . Add this feature in a way even the number of email in different folders under inbox should also reflect on the total count onnicon
Outlook on iOS will give a false number of emails that are in my inbox. It would be great to have an accurate count of unread emails in my inbox.
It would be fantastic to know the number of emails in a given email box. I can currently scroll however there is not a total count in each inbox.
Include sub folders in Outlook app badge count. Sub folders under the main mailbox that get a lot of emails should be included in the app’s new email badge count too.

Hi - on the left where we have multiple email accounts listed, can you put a counter for unread emails. Thanks

I have multiple shared email inboxes & calendars but only require notifications & app icon badge count for one inbox. We can turn off notifications for each inbox but not badge count. Please make it so I can turn off badge count for individual emails to clean up my app icon.
I would love to see an email widget with an unread counter in iOS 14

Would be great if there was a number badge indicating how many unread messages there were in each mailbox
Highlight folders with unread mail

If you have multiple mail boxes, please show only notifications for new mail for only active (selected) mailbox(es) in tile. E.g. if business mail bix is selected, only show new mail in tile for this box. If also private mail box is selected (show all), then show new mail notification in tile for both mail boxes.

The badge count is showing each individual thread as unread, rather than treating them as a single email. So it shows 10 unread emails on the badge, but in reality it’s just one email with 10 threads.
Can we have two counters of the # emails on the icon for two different email address?
Or at least to choose which is effective?
It does **** show the number of emails I have in my inbox. Only the number unread
Not much to ask for.

Both on home screen on top of app and within the app. Unless this is a feature you can switch on but is see nothing obvious in settings! Thanks
It would be nice to have the correct number of emails. The badge seldom references the correct number of email. Also the app doesn’t sync properly
I stopped using Apple’s default email app because I couldn’t keep track of how many emails I had gone through so I switched to the outlook app. I would like to have an exact number of my unopened emails all the time so I can keep track of them properly.
It might be a good idea to place a counter indicating the number of unread messages left at the inbox while you’re within a message (for example, “2 of 37” at the top, etc). This so one knows how many messages are left to be read if I’m swiping from one message to another instead of returning to the inbox and selecting the next message.
That way the user could know that it already tackled all the messages through the swipe method, and it’s not reading things that are already “marked as read”.

Allow badge to show either calendar date or unread emails
Badge count on unread emails unreliable.
