Create Calendar Event from Email
It would be nice if you could create a Calendar Event from an Email, similar to dropping an email on the calendar in Outlook for Windows.
The Calendar Event would just need the Subject and body from the source email.
It could in the action menu, i.e. "Schedule, Move to Focused Inbox, Move, Mark Unread, CREATE EVENT"

Currently, there is no way to make a new calendar item from the existing email.
I have to manually reference the people CC'd in an email, go to the calendar tab and add them in manually one by one. This is a bigger pain point if the contacts aren't in your address book. Adding a feature that takes the current item, and makes a meeting from it would save a lot of time on the go. -

I would like the details of an email included in a calendar entry that is created by clicking a time and date from within an email so that I don’t need to keep going back and forth between the email and the calendar to get the information from the email into the calendar entry.

In iOS, when creating a calendar entry from an email containing the event’s date, time and place (for instance), it only indentifies the information I press on and not the rest. More precisely, if I press on the event’s date, then a new event is created with the right date but time and place are not as in the email. For reference, the iOS Mail and Calender app have a good identification mechanism, I think Outlook would benefit a lot from it.

We can create a meeting on an incoming email on desktop. For mobile, we need to create meeting from the calendar and by doing so the context of the email will be lost.
Will be good to have similar feature here On mobile app.

Allow the ability to send mail items to other apps. For example, in other mail apps you can send a mail message to “calendar” and make an appointment tied to the email. Or send it to Todoist to make a todo item. Or send to OneNote and save it as part of a collaborative project.
This is a huge missing feature for me.

Link received email to calendar events
Functionality description:
An in-app link that directs you to the mail where you decided to add the event or related. The link shall be automatically added as an option especially when creating an event.User scenario:
I am a user who uses my phone(iOS) a lot. The current way of adding a new calendar event is such that I can only remember the date with the automatic set time. I am unable to toggle between the add event and the mail. But it’s ok because I don’t intend to spend too much time on calendar writing as well. However, since the event might takes long time before happening. It becomes harder and harder to trace back to the original mail due to maybe large volumes of mails I received or more communications under the same thread/topic. It would be the function I want to click the button then I see the mail where I decided to add the event. -

Hi, please add option to create a meeting from an existing email.
Something like forward to... but instead it’s a meeting invitation with all email recipients as meeting participants
I’m really struggling every time that I need to use outlook on the pc to di as such, or to manually creaste a new invite and adding manually all people. Thanks

On the desktop you can drag an email to the calendar icon to create an event. When using the App on an iPad or iPhone this is not possible. Instead, there is the option to create a Task, which includes a different App called To Do. This creates more work flow rather than simplifying work flow.

Currently we’re unable to add a calendar invite/event to the Outlook calendar when it is received as a link in the body of an email. Not the traditional type of invite you might receive and either accept or decline. E.g. the link in the email body takes you to a url where you first register for the event, after which point an event is created that you should be able to add to Outlook calendar. However, in iOS, the only option is to add said event to iOS native calendar not Outlook..

This works for me.
Click forward
Then instead of any recipients click the 'calendar +' icon
select 'Convert to event' enter the details and save
Not quite the same as dragging the email to the calendar in the desktop as it leaves the email in the inbox as well as saving in the event.
