Ability to move between emails in the inbox while composing a new message - floating window?

Whenever I’m writing a long email, and want to see the top parts of the email, the slightest scroll makes the application come out of the draft view and goes to the email I’m drafting a reply to. This becomes really frustrating at times.

Please introduce a capability to minimise a draft as in the default Mail app - saving the draft, finding the info you want, and then having to go into drafts to kick it off again is a major annoyance.

Want to be able to review other emails whilst drafting a new email. Should be able to hide the draft and search through other emails

Hi something has changed for the worse when replying a small box comes up but when you need to check something within the body it difficult to see where the reply this is fairly new change and is difficult on mobile phones
Can this be changed back

Similar to how twitter client works; would be cool if a force/long press on the compose icon showed your drafts and let you pick and continue working on that draft. I often have to save a draft whilst I go and look up a name or some information in another email, then come back to finish the email, and then have to scroll through a million folders to find the Drafts folder!

I have to save my mail as draft to browse in any other mails in app. When I finished browsing I need to go to draft folder and open it again. It is slow and complicated. Please check Apple Mails application.

It’s really annoying to have to stop writing the email and save as a draft when you want to take quick look at your other emails. Please solve this huge issue like Apple did in the standard mail application in iOS 11. It’s an tiny thing but does do a huge difference (positive) in the usability of the app. Especially because writing an email is a key feature of an email app.
inability minimize draft message is infuriating,
While writing an e mail, it would be good to have function swipe down & up to check other e mail information.
Outlook 365 narrows options that are not user friendly. In previous versions, I could minimize an email that I was working on and either start a new email or view the listing of emails - this is no longer possible and I hate it! Fix it. It is ridiculous and laborious to have to save the draft and reopen the the mailbox. I am a multi tasker - this is inefficient. Satisfaction with outlook 365 hovering at minus 2.

When writing an email, one can’t move back and forth with the calendar. The email goes to draft and has to be found again and opened.
Once you have started drafting an email and you want to check a date in the calendar you need to save the draft and then close the draft email and then navigate to the calendar. Be good to just be able to see the navigation bar at the base of the draft email and switch views without saving etc
One of the few things I like better about the native iOS Mail app is the ability to swipe a draft email down to the bottom of the screen while I’m working on it to quickly reference something else in Mail, or copy something else from inside Mail, and return the draft by swiping up from the “stored” draft at the bottom of the screen without having to use the menus to go back into the draft folder.
Would be great if you could put a feature like this in. Too slow to have to close the draft, save it, check on the other data, and then get the draft back from the drafts menu.

Be able to swipe an email down (collapse an email) to copy and paste from other emails.

When I am writing new email or answering to some email I would like have a opportunity minimaze this email so I can check some other email (to see some information).
This is possible in native mail app from Apple. So I can scroll down (hide) the new email so I can see others emails in inbox.
This would help.
Often times I write an email but then need to go into another email chain in order to double check information. On the iOS mail app you can drag your email draft to the bottom and then search your folders. I wish this, or a similar, function was offered. It is far more efficient than saving as a draft and then searching.

I don’t like that I have to close a current message to see the calendar. Is there a way to have the calendar “hosted” outside the app, if a user wanted it that way? Similar to the native calendar and email apps in iOS, in concept.
That way I could be in a message window and easily access the calendar without having to save to drafts, and then go find the message once I am done with calendar info...

Allow a draft email to be moved out to the way so that the calendar or other emails can be looked at
