If a user has 5 alias on their outlook.com account. They should be able to send from any one of these on their iPhone. Currently you can only send from your Primary email.

Not just gmail alias, alias feature is a MUST for email client. Even apple Mail app can add alias. I suggest not to use Outlook mobile to everyone

Have the ability to use the different email aliases associated with an email account.
Fix it now! Why antagonize so many otherwise loyal users? Unusable for me without alias
Why has the ability to use iCloud aliases been removed from Outlook for iOS and iPadOS? It was there because I wrote a post on how to use them:
Please put this feature back!

iCloud email address alias support.
I could have sworn this was in there before, but maybe not. I would like to choose (or add) a configured email alias. I never give out my account email name so it doesn’t get used for spam. I can’t (won’t) use the base address. Ou
I used outlook for checking Gmail and using alias to send email out. However the alias feature is removed in the latest update of outlook in which I am not able to send email from my desired email address. Please add back as it is very important.

I could previously send from my iCloud.com email address but now can only send from @me.com
This is not helpful to me at all as my iCloud.com is the main address I use!
If it can’t be resolved I’ll stop using outlook on my iPhone altogether and will use my cloud mail service
Was able to use my Alias email addresses to reply to emails and set as Default in iCloud and Outlook accounts until a month or so ago and then Outlook iOS app developers decided to yank the feature. Very frustrating and as a result I’ve had to switch back to iOS mail and Spark as better alternatives. Alias emails are widely used and it’s such a basic feature that should be a part of the Outlook App. Please re-instate this feature back into your App.

Under review for 5 years now? How long does it take to review. We need this now. Not everyone wants thier outlook address as thier primary email address. We have the ability to set a default from-address in outlook.com. It blows my mind that all these platforms called "outlook" are all so different in functionality.
I would really like to switch to using outlook for iOS but without alias support for all account types, including gmail and outlook.com, I can't use it.

Why can't Outlook for iOS just respect the settings defined in Outlook.com, same way Gmail for iOS respects settings done in Gmail.com?
without gmail alias,I use gmail app instead outlook for ios

Alias support for Gmail (IMAP) accounts used to work in Outlook for Android. But then it stopped and Support now says this is not available and requested that I open a feature request. Thanks.

This worked great for years with Outlook and aliases using a Google email address. Then that inbox stopped working and syncing. Outlook support was useless. They claimed there wasn’t a bug. A few updates(months) later, that Inbox started working again but aliases wasn’t working. Why would you take away a feature and not let anyone know. Clearly, based on this thread, you made quite a few users upset. Very poor communication. The in-app support still never replied to my status update.
At the moment, the Outlook app does not support email alias linked to an IMAP account. Only email alias for Outlook and some GMail accounts work.
Please extend it for others as sender email.
Moderator, why did you remove my separate post about the removal of Gmail alias support? That is an issue distinct from original poster's idea of alias support for Outlook.com accounts.
Microsoft seems to have quietly dropped support for Gmail aliases on both iOS and Android. Please reinstate it Microsoft!!
Bring back aliases! Outlook is unusable for me without it!

Please can support for gmail aliases ( pro accounts ).
I know it was working in the past. Please put it back, as it is really important for me.
Thank you so much
