Please add calendar categories, so that the colours match what I have on my PC. Thanks. (I have asked for this several times before)

Categories carry over from pc, but can’t be added on mobile. We are a business and it would be very helpful for salesmen to book appointments on a shared calendar in the field and apply a category to them so we wouldn’t have to watch the calendar remotely so much

Aside from the ability to add / edit categories (!), currently categories - the names or the colours - do not display for shared calendars like they do for personal calendars. They work perfectly on the web app.
The outlook desktop app allows you to add categories / tags to emails and calendar appointments, can this feature be added to iOS app?
Can’t choose a category when created on the app. Although if entry is entered on PC or MAC application is carries this over to app.
Need to choose category in iOS app.
I’m using colors in my Outlook calendar to keep myself organized and my calendar readable. That’s why it could be good to add the ‘category’ field when creating a calendar item on the mobile app.
So the calendar item appears in the right color in your agenda immediately.
If you love this feature, vote and I hope Microsoft will take the time to build it.

Ist deutlich schlechter in der Anwendung und Suchfunktion (Scrollen) als der vorinstallierte von IOS.
There is currently no way to choose a category using iOS app for outlook. Seems to have category shown on iOS app if entered on a pc or Mac.
Need to be able to choose category on this app. Thanks.
It won’t let me split the different calendars that are linked to my account, like the way it splits for me on a desktop computer
I am only able to add a (coloured) category to my calendar meetings in the desktop version. On my mobile device I am able to see my set categories but I am not able to edit them. Also when I add a meeting on my mobile device I am not able to select a category at all.
Disappointed to see that the latest build still doesn’t enable categorization of calendar events. Can you explain why this seems to be such a difficult feature to include? Thanks.

Musste von Windows phone umsteigen! Vermisse Kategorien. Im Browser geht es ja auch.
I work as a Medic and having extremely busy work schedule, training, court, overtime and need to be able to edit color category to easier see what days I'm working 🙏
In the Outlook mobile app, I am not able to categorize my events like you can on the desktop app. I really wish I could do this because I like to have everything comer coordinated and organized.
It would be awesome if the Outlook calendar had the ability to use the categories/tags for each entry like the desktop app for Outlook
Currently you can only categorize calendar events from a desktop or laptop computer. However, I use categories to mark items on my calendar as done, and I’m always on the go and never actually at a computer. Not being able to categorize through my iPhone really limits my productivity and organization. PLEASE make a feature that will allow users to categorize calendar events from their iPhone!
Need to be able to add or edit categories for calendar events.
Super annoying to make an appointment on the app and then have to go on your computer to change the category color! TIA
that only works if all devices are compatible. that seems more of a dedicated forever updating item which doesn’t apply across the grid, square block in a round space will never fit , it’s got to be a mobility capable bridge without 66 gate keeper doorways to fall thru when there’s only one key holder. that’s a recipe for Genocide, digitally and AI is going to survive mutability faster than we fleshy’s will. or perhaps not, pondering isn’t useless, never talking to others about progressive idealistic possibilities kills energy before input inserts anywhere. u know who i am an u are not impressed i’m sure, that’s why growth mf hurts. 🙃🪁
Would be extremely helpful to categorize new calendar entries.
At the moment it is necessary to reopen all new appointments in the desktop app to categorize the new items
allow categories and different color for the categories similar to Outlook itself
