Categories/colour calendar events
It would be ideal to see calendar events as colours, like you’re able in the full version
On my MacBook outlook app I have the option to change the colour of events but not on the mobile app. This feature would make my daily organisation a lot better, that way I don’t have to go to my MacBook to change it.
E.g. Using orange for work related events, Green for personal, etc.
A recent update now shows the category colors on calendar events. Would it be possible to now add a category option in the new/edit event view that allows you to set the event category?
I occasionally create reminder events within the app when I'm out and realize I forgot something or have an "Ah Ha!" moment. It would be nice to set my "non-meeting" category directly within the app!
I think it would be a good feature to be able to assign different colours on the Calendar app on Outlook to different events. Such as choosing a colour for a class timetable, work timetable, study timetable etc.
It would be nice to have the ability to add more options rather than the three available currently of british events, birthdays and events.
I would like to be able to categorise (by colour) calendar entries that I make using my iPad or iPhone in the same manner as I can categorise them when I enter them using my MacBook Air - can you please take this suggestion on board - thanks!
Please please I need to see the colours of my categories I set on my computer also in my app on the phone. There is no reason there is only one colour for all dates and no categories I can choose from. The app is useless for me without this feature.
Like google calendar provides it would be good to have more control over the colour of the individual appointments within a given calendar.
It’d be great to have the ability to apply your category color to an event created within the mobile app rather than having to wait to do so at a later time.
Allow users to add coloured categories on iOS Outlook app for calendar events vs just showing up from a desktop.
I would like to be able to put in an event and select the calendar colour for it from my iPad, just as I can from my laptop. This way I can visualize which events are attached to each colour category. At the moment, they are only appearing as my default calendar colour which means I will have to re-edit them when I am next logged in at my desktop.
Being a busy mom a lot of my appointments are put in through my iPhone while on the go. And I don’t always get a chance to go on the computer to change the colour of the appointments to organize my life and it’s really frustrating. On my computer I can add a colour to a certain person in my household so when I open the app and see the colour beside the appointment I know exactly who the appointment is for, without having to write the name in the title or description. But you cannot do this on your phone. When I add an appointment it automatically goes to the calendars colour but I would like to see an option on the phone to tag someone on my list with a selected colour so the icon in the calendar will show the colour corresponding with the person I have selected. I would like to be able to set a background colour for calendar so I can tell my work 365 calendar from personal 365 calendar.
On the calendar on the pc u can have different colours for events.
These do not come across to the app.
Is this possible.
I'd like to be able to assign categories ro my calendar events. This is possible via the desktop version of Outlook and Outlook Web Access but not the Outlook App.
