Outlook Tasks, Task List & Categories
I use the “Getting Things Done” method at work and use Outlook tasks to organize my work activities. I create tasks from emails, apply a category, place priority, next items, the whole process. I get home and use my iPad for checking and responding to email and check my calendar for the next days activities. Problem is I cannot see my TaskList and categorized tasks I rely on to manage my day. I really would like you to consider making tasks and categories available in the IOS app to match the functionality of the MS software.

Not able to put tasks in Microsoft Exchange. It is only possible for outlook email IDs. Not available for company IDs.

Why tie tasks to Microsoft todo? Why not allow tasks across all email accounts, but create your own reminder, use a default reminder system, or link to a task manager.

Tasks are assigned to me but I am unable to see the email in Mobile Outlook to accept them. Please allow and once accepted I can see full details in To Do app.

Also that would be nice if tasks could be also syncing their due dates and tags. Right now 2 outlooks on PC & Mac with the same signed-in account sync only the list of tasks but not the due days

Task list option to be included in Ms outlook mobile app which could sync with desktop app. So that it would be easy to look at the pending

Please please please integrate your Notes and Task funktions from Outlook for desktop. I, like many others, have been organizing our work with the Tasks and Notes for over 10 years as a central function. I have over 300 Notes and over 100 Tasks I need on an ongoing basis to organize my days and my work.

Hi
I’m a sales person and a power user of Microsoft applications, especially the Windows versions of Outlook and Word.
In the past year and a half, I have moved everything I do to my iPad with a Bluetooth keyboard. I haven’t touched my laptop since. I love the ease of using my iPad.
However, I am missing key functions from the Microsoft family of applications that I used to use every single day.
1. Contact Manager: I’d prefer to use a Microsoft Contact Manager if I’m going to use MS Outlook for email. I appreciate the integration when Contact Manager is part of Outlook.
2. Tasks: I used to use Outlook Tasks to track all my client and prospective client interactions. In the Task, I kept the client’s name & company name, my notes on our conversations and client preferences, as well as information about the company. I used the scheduling function in Outlook Tasks to pop up a Task on the day I should follow up with the client or prospective client. I know that there’s a separate MS Tasks app...and I’d prefer that it be better integrated with Outlook.
3. Importing Calendars and Tasks: I’m surprised that I cannot find a way to import my existing appointments from my Apple iPad Calendar and tasks from my Apple iPad Tasks. It would sure make it easier to migrate back to MS.
Thanks for considering this.

I work in sales. I use Outlook Tasks extensively to track my clients, call notes, and follow up scheduling. I think it’s a very important Outlook feature that’s missing in the Outlook App for my iPad and iPhone. Please include it.

I use categories in my calendars. This needs to be added to the mobile apps. It so frustrating to have to revisit anything I put in my mobile calendar on my desktop to assign a category.
