Ability to hide message previews
Forcing us to view message previews in a folder takes away from valuable smart phone screen real estate. Please give us the option to enable or disable message previews in all folders, especially the inbox.

I can’t preview emails when sorted by conversation. I have to click into the email..

I don't have the inbox setting to conversation view but it shows up in thread preview when I click an email. This feature often crashes and then Outlook doesn't mark the specific opened email as read afterwards.

Just add this simple and obvious request already. What logical explanation for the Outlook Mobile Team to have marked completed this same request as raised in 2015? https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/293349-outlook-for-ios/suggestions/9269931-please-add-an-option-to-remove-the-preview

This is a no brained, Airmail has it, every mobile app for email understands you need the space.

This would be greatly appreciated as all I can see are external warning messages

Please add this feature as been waiting years and would make this app 5 star!

i don't want to preview the email on my phone. It makes the screen so busy and at the same time, so few emails displayed.

Please add a feature enabling us to hide the previews of email content in our inboxes.

Please add function to turn off message preview. Thereby, I only receive a notification that I have received an e-mail, but it won’t show the content of the message.

Why do they have message preview. Totally unusable app.

A huge weakness in this app compared to virtually all others. Limits your view to only a few emails at a tome.

I want to not see the reading preview pane. I have the option to turn it off in the regular outlook.

This would be so very helpful. Takes forever to go through emails cuz only like five show up on screen at one time.

Yes please! This is the only thing keeping me from being able to comfortably use the Outlook app 100% of the time for work. Please add this as a feature.
Thank you for building such an amazing email client for iOS.

Fully agree. With IoS Mail, turning off the preview allows me to see 8 emails at once in the inbox. In Outlook the maximum I can see is 4.5 emails at one time, so I do a lot more unnecessary scrolling around. This is the main reason I haven’t switched from IoS Mail to Outlook yet.

The fact that this is still not implemented is the only reason I’m not using this app.

I agree 100%. Please add an option to hide the preview. All I want to see in my folders is the list of subjects in chronological order, with unread messages in bold. The preview text makes me not want to use this app and it’s being forced on me by my company.

This is one of the few features that puts outlook seriously behind most comparable mail apps.

I agree. Forcing this feature on without an option to disable creates a privacy issue. Not to mention we all get too much email to manage. Fitting more on the screen by turn this off is well needed.

Rediculous not an option
