One line view - only subject & sender
Like on desktop, can you please give us option to have a one line view so the inbox is neat and tidy. It would be nice to have option not to see the first line of body.
Create an option to change the view in the Inbox so you can choose how many lines og body text you want to see.

It would be very useful to have a settings option to turn the preview mode on/off, eg like the iOS Mail app. I prefer to only see the Sender and Subject lines in my email messages list and not the first two lines of the body of email as well. Thanks.
I would like to see only one line per message, not two. I’d also like to modify the size of text, the appearance of certain icons, etc.
Please give us the possibility to adjust the notifications we're receiving on iOS. I would like to see only sender & subject on my lockscreen for new mail.
Privacywise I don't want the content of my mail in the notification - just the sender & subject will suffice. Give us the possibility to tweak that in the options - just as in Outlook for macOS.
Disabling notification previews is even worse because we don't even get the sender, just "Notification" on the lockscreen.
Most of all major email apps show option to view mailbox of 1,2,3 or no line preview. Which can allow reader to see more emails on inbox at one time without scrolling. I understand there is no option in outlook mail app.
This is highly suggested feature.

Please add the option to only display the subject in the inbox and not a preview of the email content. This is helpful when sorting through lots of emails.
Please allow list of emails to be configured so only sender and subject line displays. Current format includes first two lines of email body, reducing the number of emails displayed per screen page.

In the past month or two, subject lines have stopped coming through on iphone/ipad with Re: or Fw: or whatever in front of them - even though they are there in outlook for mac and gmail/exchange web. please fix!
Allow an option to only show 2 lines for incoming messages: Name and Subject.
Right now it shows 4 and it’s very cluttered...too much scrolling to view all messages.
You should be able to view or not view message previews. And limit to just the sender and subject line
I love the outlook app but I would really enjoy a “compact” view when looking at my inbox. Maybe with the sender’s name and subject line so that I can see more messages at once on the screen. I enjoy having a cleaner, and more comprehensive look on my phone when working through emails.
Thank you for the consideration!

Possibility of displaying only the sender and the subject line like with Apple mail app. It allows to scroll though mail messages in a faster way. Thank you.
It would be very helpful to change the display settings so that my inbox only shows the sender and subject line for each email, allowing more emails to appear on a screen.
please give users the option to deactivate the inbox from containing the first lines of email content, and just see sender and subject heading if desired.
this is a feature of Apple’s Mail app and helps offer more of an overview of inboxes and reduce scrolling
To view more mail on screen.
Currently there is no option that allows you to only see senders name & title of message in my inbox. Currently the start of the actual message is displayed.
This feature was known as ‘Preview’ in the old apple mail app

Ability to reduce display lines to one line on the inbox
It will be nice to have a two-liner mode to display more emails when showing the email list in a folder. Currently 4 lines are used, i.e. one line for “from”, another for “subject” and 2 lines for “email content”. Proposal here is to support two-liner mode that just shows “from” and “subject”.
I would adjust the Inbox display like showing only show a person who sent me, only title, and so on.
Would be nice if there are different ways to adjust the way the email is viewed like the desktop version. My personal favorite is to see just the sender and subject like, not have a preview of the email unless I click it.
