Flag/Move a single email within a thread/conversation
This feature is available in desktop and on OWA.
Currently, when you open a thread/conversation, you can scroll through the emails in the thread.
You can reply/reply-all/forward individual emails in the thread..
BUT, you cannot Flag/Move any of those individual emails within the thread.
Currently, we can only Flag/Move from Folder view.
We need feature(s) to Flag/Move an individual email within thread/conversation view.
Please provide an option to move a specific mail or mails from the conversation to one of the folders.
Presently you can only move the whole conversation (all associated mails of same subject)
It would be nice to be able to move only certain messages of a thread into another folder an not only the entire thread
Still no response to this?
Come on Microsoft, we're 16 months into this thread and not a single response to us. There's at least another 2 threads that address this too, also without development.
This is a must. iOS Mail does this so much better - can swipe & move each individual message in a thread, With Outlook iOS it's all-or-nothing.
All emails are marked as read when opening a thread conversation. This is not useful as sometimes there are unread emails on a thread which the user do not have time to open yet.
In the same line, thread conversations should be displayed without showing the whole email. Allowing the user just reading 2-3 lines. This will simplified the view and allow single email can be clicked to read the full email.
The only posible now was to move to the folder de las one in the chain.
But if only need to move the 1/3 or 2/3 don’t have the option.
Conversations don’t seem to tell you which folder each message is in. It would be helpful if you could see which folder a message is in and also move messages that are in the middle of conversations to different folders.
Why when messages are grouped can you not manage individual message, I.e archive an individual email or move it to a particular folder. Currently all you can do is move the whole group of emails as one group.
Generate a drop down option for messages within a thread, similar to Outlook on personal computers. Also have the ability to delete, save to folder or archive specific messages within the thread.
Ability to move individual messages in a conversation to individual sub folders without moving the entire thread
Should be a way to move a single email in a thread to a folder instead of the entire thread!
Ability to move a single email (vs the entire) thread to a folder. Right now it’s all or nothing, which is really silly, especially for long email chains that go back and forth endlessly.
At present you only have the ability to move a full conversation to a folder. It would be good to have the ability to move a single email within an email conversation to a specific folder like you can on the native iOS Mail App.
Currently, moving a single item of a conversation into a folder is not possible.
The ability to configure emails so that conversations are read individually rather than a single email with a conversation history. It’s too easy to loose some elements of the conversation as the App auto collapses the messaging.

Agree. Sometimes what do move just individual emails to a folder not the whole conversation.
Also sometimes want individual emails in a thread into different folders.

Currently, mails get grouped if they belong to same mail chain, due to which, there is no option available to move a single email from a group of mail chain to another folder. The entire mail chain group has to be moved to a folder.

Stop stacking emails and just have them show up as they come in. Stacking makes it difficult to search and easy to miss an email. Also the search feature in general is not good and does not pull up all emails from a particular search.

Ability to copy and paste threads/individual emails to in another email

All of the emails are coming in grouped together and I cannot delete the individual emails that I am not interested in. If I erase one, they all get erased. Have to be able to turn it on or off if I can
