Work hours feature
I would like to have my work emails only displayed during my set work hours.
I.e. if I work Monday - Friday 9-5 I would like any time exclusive of those days/times for the work emails not to be visible. unless I open the work mailbox and refresh it manually.
Thus avoiding clutter in my inbox and helping me not to over work outside of work hours.

This would be so helpful! It would help with those midnight company emails and with switching off on the weekend.

It would be nice if outlook had the same notification feature as teams where the notifications stop during certain hours. I understand I could turn off notifications but it’s a bit of a hassle to go into my settings each time to turn it on and off. I prefer to get email notifications only during work hours since I’m not required to work over my 9-5 hours. It’s also stressful getting emails in the middle of the night.

I want a feature that turns off notifications for my work email account during certain hours or if I have automatic replies on, so that I don’t receive email notifications during a vacation or on the weekend, if I choose. Microsoft Teams has a quiet hours feature that at least allows me to set day’s of the week to quiet notifications.

I do like this feature in Teams as well; I just became aware of it. If this was replicated in Outlook - even better - reducing stress in my “off hours” - helping me in demarcating times for work, family, etc during the COVID19 pandemic.

I like that Teams has the Quiet Hours option. I would like for Outlook to have the same, I don’t need to know that my work email received an email on the weekends.

This is available in the app. Press your user avatar in the top, select the account you want to silence, press the little bell 🔔 icon and set to your likings...
Or was I missing the point here? -

Yes! I would love to be able able to silence notifications of emails during holidays, weekends, or daily when with my family. This would help with the separation of work and home.

Allow a toggle between Do Not Disturb and Active Hours, the difference being DND will disable notifications during those time periods set, and Active Hours would be the opposite where DND is always on except during the selected times.
Implementation wise I think it should just be an actual toggle to use the same DND settings but simply inverts them.

Be able to turn off notifications after a set time & turn them back on in the morning. I do not want any work emails during my time off!

This would be a great feature to help separate and balance work and personal lives. I do not work weekends, but I get a constant stream of notifications all weekend long. Being able to pause them for the weekend and specific days would be great!!

It would be nice to set quiet hours for email just like in teams. Right now I have to log out of the app every night and log back in. That’s not efficient.
