A better search function
The search function in this app abysmal. You can’t type a part of an email address and have it locate the address you’re looking for.
For example if I’m trying to email “JohnDoe@gmajl.com” I can’t type in doe and have that email address pop up. It will only find it if I type the very beginning of the email address.
It’s 2019. Search has been around for literally 30 years. Can you improve this ???

This is a basic need for a full work account - need to be able to find needles in our inbox haystack! Please help!
Search needs to be improved. In Apple Mail, a simple search like one world like “chrome” will immediately produce results. Once I get all of my results back and I can refine the search as well. I can also search for a person then add another search criteria like “chrome” and it will return to me the results for that person where the word “chrome” is used. This type of scenario does not work or does not work as well with Outlook on

It can be hard to find emails I am searching for when I use the app on my iPhone. Needs improvement
Need to be able to search a mail with filtering fields such as “from”, “to”, “subject, ”attachment” etc or a combination of above fields.
In a few words:
***MORE ADVANCED SEARCH FUNCTION***

Search functionality to find emails works poorly. Should be able to search by author of email
Search doesn’t find all emails as for example the online O365 version does.
With thousands of emails, hundreds of senders, and dozens of folders, there needs to be a better search feature so specific folders can searched results can easily be sorted by sender, subject only, or subject and message.
Essentially, bring the “Advanced Search” feature from the Windows desktop version to the mobile version. The current search function is great for personal email, but it is not business friendly. We switched from Blackberry Work to Outlook, and this is a serious feature downgrade.

Need powerful search function of emails. What currently exists is useless.
I just want to switch on automatic replies but I can’t find the function.
The iPhone settings can be searched in the settings app.
Adding something like that for this app would save me googling every time I want to do something for the first time.
Current search displays limited mails, only organisation is by sender name, pretty hard t navigate/find what u need. 99 out of 100 times feel the need to open a laptop. E
When searching for old emails the search is pretty poor and I resort to Mail on my iPhone.
It would be great if the search function was more detailed and if it was possible to sort the mails by sender

We need the features to search on specific fields such as “from” “to” “subject”, etc.
When you currently search - the user does not have much in the way of limiting the results (folders, sub folders, etc.) and often results are too difficult to sift through. Also suggest being able to sort results by date, name, etc.

As described in other comments, search function is not very effective.
iOS search should be able to return results back further than the 1 month/1,000 email limit. ie. option to search online IMAP database
The search function is very weak. Pls give us proper search function with no limits. I should be able to choose the folder of my choice and of course the entire folder with no limit. Thanks.
