Reporting of phishing emails
When I receive a phishing email, I would like the ability to report it to you for investigation and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

Adding to the app the option to report a spam/scam emails.
This option is only available on the desktop copy.
It will be faster and more effective to report the spam emails from the Inbox/Junk mail.

Too many phishing emails in my inbox makes email checking a tedious chore. In fact I thought purchasing a subscription would help reduce that but it has gotten worse. It’s like the app doesn’t even try

In the iOS app, I want to report spam & phishing without having to open the whole email. Why? They usually put tracking images in the email that confirms I opened it, generating more spam to my address.

Reporting junk email as junk/phishing from the inbox works well, but often junk emails are automatically sent to the junk inbox. In the iOS app, I report all junk emails I receive, but in order to do this I must first move the email to my inbox via “not junk” before reporting it as phishing. Ideally I would be able to do this from the junk inbox in the app but cannot currently. Can this be added?

Please help me with keeping my spam emails out of my main inbox. I have reported millions of junk/phishing emails but I still Keep getting the same ones. All of them are scams trying to steal my money and ruin my life. Wish this was something taken seriously.

Total blocking option also for the phone app would be great. And safe list/ block list option for the app would be essential! Also it seems that the algorithm does not understand that if you are on a mailing list you may choose to directly delete 90% of the emails unread but STILL want to stay on the list because 10% of the emails interest you so it’s not spam. Also when you report spam on app, it might not be spam for someone else so it’s insane to mark everything reported spam for everyone (unless it’s phishing of course), we are individuals with individual interests. Also adding senders to safe list doesn’t really work because of the before mentioned. So my safelist sender goes directly to spam because someone else reported it as spam? Also emails on my safe list go directly to deleted folder but phishing from some random dude will enter Inbox! To me hotmail/ outlook hasn’t worked that well for so long now but I still keep it because I’ve had it ‘forever’. So in short, please give us better tools to control the spam nightmare! Also in the app! Thank you!

Where is the option for reporting phishing without opening the email? Not every phishing email get filtered by spam protectio and it is so obvious. I would be great to have report junk and report phishing button available without opening the email.

Report junk without opening the email so the spammer doesn’t get to load their pictures and pixels

Hello! Please consider adding the BUTTON for REPORT PHISHING/PHISH ALARM in an obvious or prominently noticeable place. If we are asked to report these emails, it would be helpful to know where this BUTTON is located.
Thanks!! -

Reporting junk or phishing requires three clicks. Please consider removing the final conformation click.

It is possible to denounce a lot of phishing in the web version of Outlook but not in the mobile applications. I would like this security option in mobile applications.

Mark spam/phishing emails as such with out opening. Have a block Domain available in the junk section. Allow select all function to block all in junk. Why do I have to individual select to bock. I want a bock domain on my tool bar, not go through to steps. You need to tighten your spam filters on your server, no reason for us to block the same type of email over and over. Filters are not working, I have tried and still get the same junk.

Remove "report message" Phish option in iOS Outlook app as we use a third party phish solution and having two phish options is confusing. We have Microsoft's phish option turned OFF but the button is still there and is just moving emails to junk when users tap it. Some users think they are reporting phish and they are tapping the WRONG button and are indeed not.

I wish there was a way that when you report a individual email if phishing or spam it Will No longer come back into your email again. I don’t own a Amazon prime or certain banks or even a PayPal account and I get the daily saying they’ve closed my account. I know they just want to steal my information and I ignore it but it’s just annoying. Or even the ones that say I’ve been given $1 billion as an inheritance. How stupid do they think I am? Please find another way to stop this annoyance
