Change default font for outgoing mails
Please please please can you make it possible to define what an individual requires in terms of their default outgoing mail FONT. When composing an email using outlook the font appears to be cambria or similar - and looks awful. Many thanks.

Totally agree, this seems like it'd be easy to fix. We have style guides for what we're able to use, and the default font that you can't change currently means I can't actually use Outlook for writing emails, only to read them.

This seems like an incredibly simple thing to add / fix. I literally only use Outlook for iOS to read email because I hate the fact that it looks different from me sitting at my desk. Change of font seems like a basic function that should be available.

Right now it looks very unprofessional.

Adding to the comments below. This is an unacceptable lack of feature that likely is going to cause some people off the app.

thanks for the hack below. We just moved off Blackberry Work which allowed all sorts of different fonts and looked much more professional, it's bizarre that MS don't allow this - please sort this out!

I found a little hack for iPhone. Copy some text from an email that you sent earlier via desktop in your ideal font. Then write in between that text. It will come in that formatting. Then Delete the now redundant text you copied!

Allow default font change

The inconsistency between the app and the online version is terrible. Please fix and allow more features on the app. Otherwise, what’s the point in having the app?

The font kept appearing as SimSun font type - which looks highly unprofessional!! We need it now more than ever when everyone is working away from their offices!
If you can’t introduce a change of font type, just set a default font type - like Arial! Thanks -

For Android - there is a work-around .
when replying to all, use 'Edit recipients' and type your message. your outgoing email will use Calibri.
When replying to sender only, do the same - 'Edit recipients' but manually remove the other recipients.
When forwarding, it anyway defaults to Calibri.
hope this helps -

Absolutely mental that the font from my Android looks really unprofessional, but also, that it's obvious I am typing from a phone instead of my pc.

I came on here to find a solution and I'm baffled that there isn't one. How is there not a fix for this?

Doesn't make sense that I can't change font. It can't be that tough to add that feature.

This can’t be a real issue in 2020, but it really is. Even the most bottom of the barrel email clients can manipulate the font settings for an email. As others said my email look extremely unprofessional when sent via iPhone and that is unacceptable. Change it!!!!!
