Sync all folders.
In order to be an enterprise solution it needs to sync all folders.
Dudes, you have to have to have to be able to sync whatever folder I want. This is madness.

I have multiple sub-folders with rules that automatically move emails straight into those sub-folders.
Both Android and iOS Outlook do NOT auto-sync those folders. I have no way to receive notifications for those sub-folders or to auto-sync them in the background as a minimum. This can result in me missing emails, unless I go in and manually check every single folder every time I open Outlook.
The default Email App on Android is capable of doing this. I haven't used the default iOS Email App in a while though!

Outlook for iOS does NOT show / search items that were Posted (IPM.POST) to a folder. I did Ctrl-Shift-S to create a Post and it never showed in my iOS inbox. It shows fine on Outlook 1905.
You shouldn’t have to tap “Load More Conversations” multiple times to get mail to sync in user created folders. There should be a global “number of days to sync”.
emails within folders are not synced automatically.
this feature would be good so you know you have new emails
The mobile and PC outlook files do not sync correctly or timely. Gmail does not have this problem. So Outlook definitely shouldn’t.
I hope this app will auto sync all mail folder just like the website. From now, every time I want to receive/know the numbers of the new mail from the folder, i need to click inside each folder and refresh....it is not efficiency.

The default iOS and Android app have this capability would be very useful for those of us that prefer the Microsoft app but have multiple sub folders!

Sync with Notes and Desktops
There should be an option to choose which folders to be sync and also to disable a folder from being synced.

Agreed! It’s frustrating that the phone and computer are never in sync. Also, I have email folders on my phone that aren’t visible on my computer and vise versa. No idea why..?

All folder of outlook mobile app should be sync with computer to reduce dependancy on computer.
At present only inbox and sent items are being sync.

I rely on custom search folders that I move to my favorites list to filter all of my most important emails. However in the new Outlook app we have to use for work those search folders don’t appear to be accessible making how I check my email on my PC different enough from the app to be frustrating.
Can this be added in a future update? Thanks!
The iPhone app keeps reverting to folders that no longer exist or have been renamed on outlook.com
I have to do double work when reading and deleting emails which is something I didn’t have to do with my Android. I hope they have a fix for this soon because it is super frustrating when you receive so many emails in one day. And emails seem to disappear from the inbox which I have yet to figure out. HELP us please.
Emails within folders are not synced automatically unless you open them. This is by design. Onlythe Inbox is refreshed automatically.

The user should have the option to set the preference in the synchronization.
I work on exchange with iPhoneX and 25 subfolders, the emails are directed via rules in the specific folder.
Presently, I have to push the synchronization of some subfolders to keep going the emails.
The synchronization is generally poor and makes the software unreliable.
I hope it can be fixed.
I’ve lost the ability to move emails in to name folders.
1. The names have disappeared
2. If I did move them, they are not where they were put.

Outlook should be able to sync local folders created on pc on the fly and provide notifications just like other mails which go into inbox. We always have to manually sync the local folders and check the mail as we dont get notifications. Local folders do appear on app and once we go to local folders the mail sync automatically but we dont get notifications of mail incoming into local folder
