Get rid of “Read More” button.
Having a “Read More” button in long emails is stupid. I opened the email because I wanted to read it. Not just the first few paragraphs.
And if you insist on having this then at least have the button work properly. Currently hitting “Read More” just opens the email in a new window and takes you back to the top of the email. So then you’re left scrolling through trying to find where you were at and completely lose your train of thought.
Hi! Kill the annoying “read more” feature, let me read emails in full on one screen.

I am so annoyed by this that I am returning to the native email app on my iOS devices.
I would like to See always the Full Text of my Mail in Order Not to press the Button „Read More“

I would also like read more to go away, both because it loses my place in the email I was reading, but also because it has to be re-triggered if I leave the app for a moment.
When reading a newsletter, there are often links to related material on the web. Each time I click one of those, take a few minutes to read the online material, and then return to Outlook, I have to go through the whole rigmarole again.
Some emails do not render any part of the body and all you are presented with is a "Read More" button. After opening a case with Microsoft, I was told that this is caused by email's large HTML headers. I believe the code can be improved by:
1. Make Read More feature user controlled. User should be able to toggle it on/off as desired.
2. The Outlook app code should handle "large headers" and just show the email body if it runs into large headers instead of just showing a read more button.
Be able to the whole email instead for long emails having to press more at the bottom then see it.
Make it simple ?
Also dark mode needs work
Please show entire email in the preview pane and remove the more button. It not, please bring email in full view page to the point where the email in the preview pane truncated the email. Have to scroll to the spot where the email was truncated is extremely annoying.
Hello, its quite bothering that longer mails, i.e. newsletters, if you have read half through, „Read more“ appears, and if click on it, only then the rest of the mail is downloaded - but in a different way. The layout is smaller, you need to scroll down to the position where you have been before you opened the rest of the mail.. i could not see any sense. Either you switch it off or allow individual settings. Best regards, Reinhard

I have a kind wish. I do not understand, why the long emails are cut and I have to open a new window to read it to the end. It is frustrating. Other email clients are able to show the whole email. If you are not willing to change this, please, make it at least an option.
Can we at least have a “show whole email” button at the top of the email, not lose scrolling position when the read more button is pressed on iPad, and not lose scrolling position always when I click on a link and then come back to my newsletter?
The Read More button is intrusive and useless. Why do you make me open an email twice? Maybe the button should read: are you sure you want to read this email you’ve been reading? Press Read More if you are sure. Is the dumbest thing to ask me to confirm what I already confirmed once.
Download the full e-mail completely when you open it instead of having to click the “read more...” button.
Get rid of this - it’s rubbish.
When you get a longer mail you always have to click on read more to see the whole text. This is annoying as you have to scroll down to where the previous screen ended and you have to go back to the normal view afterwards. This is really annoying.
Or make it at least optional. No one needs it. It doesn’t work.
Remove read more button, especially for larger devices such as large smartphones and tablets. It’s counterintuitive as when you want to read an email, especially a long one, you want to flick through the whole thing quickly without interruptions.
For long emails, there’s a “Read More” button which reveals the rest of the email in a new screen. When you click a link in the email to open a browser, and then return back to the email, you’ll find yourself at the very top of the email and then you have to scroll down to continue reading.
Ideally, the scroll position would be maintained.
It would also be nice if this feature could be turned off completely and the whole email is always rendered in full.
Yes, I just had to switch from a free email account to Outlook. One of the frustrating things is this read more… Issue. I just want to see the whole article and not have to click once again and then scroll to where I was. Super annoying
When I’m reading and email in the outlook app I want to read the email. I don’t want to have to click the ‘Read more’ button a couple of scrolls down to open another window. Could you make this “feature” optional?
Similar to the Mail App from Apple, allow the reader to be able to scroll through the entire email rather than having to hit read more and starting at the top. Thanks!
