Mark as read
Can you include an option so that when you move an email to another folder it does not automatically Mark the next email as read? Moving one does not mean I'm finished with the next.
Add ability to drag the blue dot next to messages in the inbox, and drop them away to mark message as read.
Need to be fixed
Very annoying! Please fix!
Currently you can’t open an email in a thread, then make it as unread without leaving and reopening the message.
Adding this feature will resolve that behavior.
When emails are read in outlook in laptop, its not syncing as read in outlook app in my iphone....
Every time, i need to open the outlook app in my iPhone and read the emails again which is frustrating
I need this

There is a bug with marking messages as read on the iPad.
Tap an unread message. Read the message. The message does not change to read until you tap another message.
This is poor behavior and adversely impacts productivity because (and breaks previous functionality):
If you don’t read another message the badge count doesn’t change.
The message appears as unread on other devices: iPhone and the e-mail interface on the computer.
The message is not marked as read on the server.
Swipe to move the message to trash results in unread message there that has to be reviewed again
Swipe to move the message to archive results in unread message there that has to be reviewed again.
Messages should b marked as read when they are tapped WITHOUT having to tap another message as it was in previous versions and as it is on the iPhone.
It is annoying that after I have read a msg unless I click another msg the unread flag does not go. Once I have clicked a message it is by definition unread!
How to retrieve read messages and sent messages by date?

I agree. This is very annoying and needs to be changed!
When I click an email and read it for a few seconds mark it as read or unmark it as new.
Fix bug that doesn’t mark messages as read even when they’ve been read.

Please fix the way the app marks the messages as read. Right now when you tap on a message it does not mark it as read until you navigate away to another message. When you tap on a message it should be marked as read automatically right then because you have now read it.
This is issue becomes very evident that something is not right when you start reading and moving messages to folders, it’s not long and you realize that your folders somehow have many unread messages... then when you investigate you see that these are all messages that you already have read and moved but they are marked as unread because they stayed marked as unread despite having read them and moved them... Please help.
Please add the capability to specify a delay before having a message marked as read. Right now if I’m working in the unread filter view, if i click on a message by accident it is marked as read and disappears as soon as I leave it. This is annoying as I must now use search or swim through another view to find it.
Please provide a setting to disable the default marking of a message as being read if selected. As someone who alternates between mobile devices and a full client, it is critical messages aren’t marked as read automatically as I may not have taken action.
This used to be a feature but it seems to have been removed or your app is broken. VERY, VERY irritating and inconvenient. Please reinstate. Thank you.
I want this too!
