Favorites for Contacts
Create Favorutes for Contacts
When you add someone to an appointment or email it would be nice to have an option for favorites. I frequently email myself or another calendar and it would be nice to have that list pop up. The list that typically displays doesn’t seem to have any significance. And often when I search for myself it’s way down on the list
Show same “Favourites” folder list as web/desktop versions.
Favourites are especially useful for filing emails into deeply nested subfolders — especially given that the iOS app doesn’t allow you to expand/collapse them.
You should introduce an option to filter the inbox to show only emails from "favorite" contacts, to replicate the iOS VIP mail app functionality. Currently, you have to scroll through a list of favorite contacts which is unwieldy and doesn't scale with many favorites. Bonus if badge count / unread count can be set only by unread emails coming from "favorites".
Can we have as part of the selection when adding email attachments, a Favorites folder with shortcuts to frequently used folders on OneDrive, DropBox etc??
As per the title it’s vital that the Favourite folders automatically update with an unread count, otherwise they are pointless.
Constantly missing important emails that go into them via Rules makes it then inefficient if you have to go through each one manually to see if anything new has appeared. Therefore you have to delete the rule and just let everything go into your Inbox as that’s the only folder which auto updates and notifies the user.
Hence why the Favourites is pointless.
Please implement this as soon as possible.
I want to be able to filter notifications to my most important contacts outside of work hours, but today I need to “Favorite” them which causes folders to be created. I don’t need folders for them, just priority filtering abilities.
Absolutely. This was part of the old Mail app and it was very useful.
We can add a favorite frequent email, but your inbox is still cluttered with it.. it doesn’t help organize..

I would like to get screen/push notifications for a select contact when they email. I don’t want to be pinged with all emails. This is possible with apple mail but not outlook. Can this please be added?
Be able to flag certain contacts messages as they come into your inbox without having to receive them first.
Or mark contact as important

Customize notifications so that only emails from favorite contacts are notified. I don’t want to get distracted by a notification from non-important sources
To add a list of favorite folder just like the desktop version to left sided panel

Absolutely crucial. When I moved to Outlook on iOS, I no longer can have designated VIP or favorites contacts. So, I either get email notifications for everyone or none. In the native app, I had the option to get separate notifications from certain people (for example, as a parent, If I get an email from the school, I want to get notified. There are many situations where I absolutely need this

I recommend doing something similar to the iphone inherent email app that gives you the option to star/favorite contacts so that you can filter by that category and/or receive notifications for those contacts only.

Please make “Favorite people will be coming soon!” Come true ASAP. such a basic feature. How hard could it be to add this? You are 10 years behind the rest of the world.

Create a feature so that only selected email addresses show up as notifications.

Restore favorites from full program profile settings so shown at top left along with inbox, sent items, etc. Especially helpful since can no longer collapse created subfolders.
