Went through this with your support, and unfortunately, this is an issue that Microsoft don't think needs to be fixed unless it is a requested feature that many would want to see. So I hope you guys will support me by stopping this annoying "feature" that Microsoft has.
Whenever you install a new Microsoft app onto your smart device, it searches your phone for any previously Microsoft log-in information. And smartly ask if you would like to add those said accounts to your newly installed app.
However, if you say "no, skip this account", the next time you log in, it will still be there asking you if you want to log in to the account that you previously said "no" to. This option cannot be removed, and cannot be deleted. And this "smart feature" is on every Microsoft product that you installed onto your smart devices.
Why is this annoying? (Bear with me please - long story)
Because 7 months ago, I used to work for Company-A. I've left Company-A, and now have been an employee with Company-B.
According to Microsoft-support, I've logged in to OneDrive using Company-A information before. And because of this log-in, my phone searches for any Microsoft log-in information when I installed "Outlook" into my phone.
Now, I don't recall this - because Company-A does not have OneDrive facilities when I was there. Anyhow, perhaps I've forgotten. Don't matter.
So, I'm with Company-B now. Before I left Company-A, I've deleted all accounts information from Company-A (they watched me do it). They were so strict with information retention, that they do not allow us to access our emails on our smart devices unless we've got VPN, and uses only Good Email to access our emails. I've never had Outlook because I didn't need it.
I've only started using Outlook on my phone when I started work at Company-B 7 months ago. When I did, and logged in using Company-B details, Outlook continues to ask me to add Company-A information - WHICH I DO NOT HAVE ANY MORE. I skipped it, do my own thing, closes app. Launch app to do my thing again, and it asked me to log in with Company-A information AGAIN. I said "skip" again, and annoyingly, it persistently continously kept asking me. An update came about, it stopped asking me now. Instead it replaced this annoying question with an annoying red dot at the Settings menu.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MICROSOFT TO STOP ASKING ME TO ASK INFORMATION THAT I DO NOT HAVE?
Unless Microsoft see that this "smart feature" is as annoying to me as to most everyone else. It will not be removed by Microsoft.
I hope that you will support me in my request to get Microsoft to stop this annoying "smart feature".
Allow us to say, "I do not have this information anymore, stop asking me", and allow us to remove log-in information completely and not hiding these information somewhere in our phones.
I apologise for my long rant. But I've been through this with their support for days, only for them to finally respond with "we're not doing anything about it. If you want to, request it as a new feature". So please, help me out by supporting removal of "smart feature".

It is so annoying keep indicating the badge on top left corner as well as Setting icon to suggesting adding account.
Once get in and select “Skip” removes badge, but return it wherever I restart program.
There is a reason I don’t create, well, it is not possible to create due to redirect alias doesn’t have such “account” on the server which will causing errors when program try detecting it.
So, I don’t like a feature keep suggesting a new account setup, rather having choice to opt-out such feature!

I have a work account in exchange. That is all I want, but the app seems to “find” my personal account on my iPad and I keep getting notifications to add another account. I contacted support, and dion said to mention it here.
So.. can the auto ask for more notifications stop?
On the Settings icon I now have a dot. When I check Settings it is requesting/asking me to ‘add an account’. I do now want to add this account; the ‘skip’ option just takes you to the add an account page; and I understand from your help desk there is no way to remove the request and the dot. This seems rather odd, as it must be the app that has generated the request.
Can this be fixed please, as the presence of the dot means I have to either keep checking (uselessly) to see if there is new action required or I have to ignore the dot, and miss things.
This app keeps sensing accounts and keeps asking me to add them and won’t let me “ignore”. Keeps showing a dot on the “messages” tab and red dot on the settings tab because of it
Don't keep asking me to sign in...........and don't tell me that my password and 6 digit verification code number is wrong when I
follow your instructions.....thank you!

No sure if this is just in the Dogfood versions, but there is no way to permanently dismiss the notification dot to add other accounts. It should definitely not persist.

I don’t have a gmail account but the app keeps asking me to put one in. Then it ask “was this helpful?” I’m going to keep hitting no till this very annoying message stops asking me.
Ask once. Why keep pestering me for a **** gmail account.
If this isn’t corrected by the end of this year.
I will uninstall the app and just use the Mail app on my phone.

A recent update added a new button to the sidebar to allow the user to quickly add a new mail account. I appreciate the convenience, but the icon is similar enough to the icon for my existing Exchange-based email account that unless I look carefully, I can hit the “add account” button instead of the one for my work email. Considering how rare it is to add a new account once the initial set up of the app is completed, I think this button is unnecessary and should be removed or removable at the user’s option.
