Customise account icon
The new navigation pane doesn't allow customisation of the initials in the circle. With multiple accounts in outlook it's impossible to tell them apart.
Let users set a custom account avatar.
Would love this! This would make my life easy when chatting to people.

Yes please allow customizing... now j have a bunch of JO Jo Jo Jo going down the side of the screen and I don't know without going into each on which email account is which.
10 accounts, and all are now identified by essentially meaningless letters. The ability to customize each "avatar" with meaningful letters would certainly represent an important improvement.
There is no way to tell which accounts you are switching to now. The account bubble just have initials. While this saves space, it now is a pain switch accounts.
It would be nice to be able to customize the icons for each email. Such as add a photo to easily and quickly recognize which is which

I have 4 accounts, each a circle with IJ in them. The colors are different but AFAICT not controllable by me (shouldn't they be the same as the calendar color?)
I can't change their order
Can you give me
1) A way to provide a friendly name for the accounts
2) control the order
I can't stand this newest change. I agree that it makes it confusing especially like me who have six Gmail accounts and all of the icons show the same and you can't tell one account from the other
I appreciate the effort to change the account switch screen. The way folders are handled now is great. However as I went to change accounts today I saw a new version on f the app with 5 "MW" in circles (my initials). Oh great. Now its roulette guessing which account to open.
I have work, personal, subscriptions, sign-in emails and can't imagine I'm that much of an edge case.
Thanks for constant product improvements - please let me see the email for the account when I'm switching.

In the new UI top right menu, all the mail outlook account icons look the same. Please provide away to make them look different.
Strongly dislike the new account list. Outlook chooses random initials and random colors in the circle. I check about 7 accounts so they all look the same now and I have to scroll. They're all my accounts, so they're all my initials. I want my text list of accounts back.
I have many accounts and It is too difficult to decipher which account is which with the circles and initials. I have approximately 10 accounts and it is just more time consuming going into each one to see what is what especially as many have the same initials.

I like the new slide out interface with the circles that denote the accounts. However, now it is difficult to know which is the account because it's a circle with initials inside of it that I can't even define. Would be great if I could put an avatar or define the initials that appear in the circle.

Please switch back to where the email address was clearly identified. Showing multiple accounts with only the color to distinguish is not productive.

Current labels use initials from name, which in most scenarios will be the same for a person across accounts.
So a better two.digit identifier or an Avatar to identify account for selection.
I don't like the change from names to icons for different email accounts - either get rid of it, or make it a selectable option
Allow me to edit the small circle that sits next to my account as they all look the same as they are my initials
Guys, what have you done?
I have 7 accounts configured in Outlook, and I named them to switch easily from account.
Now I can't see my accountlist anymore, so I can't switch from account like before, I have to guess.
This is no improvement, please go back to the previous situation.
Now I have 4 different color little circles with my initials in them. I use more than one phone. Am I really supposed to remember which color is which exchange account? Terrible idea, how did that make it past usability?
Also, where did the reply arrow go? First time I am considering apple mail, that's how bad this got
I'm a consultant and many of my clients will set me up with a mailbox within their organization. As a result, I have multiple Exchange and 365 accounts.
The previous version of the outlook iOS app had an option to set a nickname for each account. New version just shows the default icon for the mail service provider.
I want to have the ability to set my own icon or nickname so I can easily distinguish mailboxes from one another.
