Customise account icon
The new navigation pane doesn't allow customisation of the initials in the circle. With multiple accounts in outlook it's impossible to tell them apart.
Let users set a custom account avatar.

It would be helpful to set own and idividual icons in the list of connected mailboxes.

Need to be able to change email account icon so can readily tell them apart. Both my email accounts are a C in a brown circle

Allow us to set icons for our separate email accounts. I was astounded to find out this wasn't a feature already, please get on it.

Using the outlook app to customise your individual mail box with an image or icon. This will improve the ability to differentiate inboxes and reduce the risk of sending an email to someone from the wrong account. Which was the reason I originally kept one of my mail accounts with Gmail.

Profile pictures do not appear when more than one account is added. Profile picture can only be seen on one account. Profile pictures should be displayed when there is more than one account.

Using round icon with first character of email address (name) doesn’t help distinguish at all. No method to change round icon.

Profile pictures are not shown when using multiple accounts eg, regular office 365 account + shared mailbox, instead Home icon and initials for every account is shown. Having only my regular account profile pictures shows

I discovered a workaround that might be useful to others... If you revise the Description for each account in the Settings, the icon will pull the two letters from the first two independent words in the description, and not from the email address.
So, instead of getting J, J, J, J... You can put something like "Work Email" or "Personal Email" in the description and get "WE" and "PE" in the icons.
Hope it helps!

This is a huge issue! I really like the app, but not being able to tell one inbox icon from the next is a nightmare. As with everyone else, all email addresses start with the first letter of my first name, so all appear as "J." Impossible to tell which is which.

Change letter in circular icon to differentiate between email addresses - I have several emails all starting with my name .. so each mail box has the letter ‘c’ - so it makes it difficult to quickly go to the relevant mail box when switching between them

We have been forced to use this app for work, and it's made things worse because of these silly icons with only 2 letters. I'm switching to another app for my personal accounts and only having my work account in outlook because i have to. Use the name or customisable description of the account! Well done MS for making things harder.

This is such a ridiculously easy ask. Occasionally, give the users what they want even if it is cosmetic. I have 4 accounts that use my name, the 2 letter abbreviation icons are useless. Please make this change because it's the right thing to do

Have the ability to modify the icon for the email account. It would make it more pleasing to view and identify the email account instead of ugly colored icon and one or two A/N characters that you cannot currently change.

I AM ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED.
HOW CAN THIS NOT BE RESOLVED BY NOW. It’s an issue for years!!!!
People do use different accounts. It’s not adequate to not be able to differentiate which account one is looking at. 1 star and definitely I am going to spread the word to not use the app -

have synced in one outlook and 4 gmail accounts with similar names. Lot of confusion while switching mailbox from one email account to the other (in ios) using the pop in toolbar on the left as all icons (of accounts) showing same initial letter (D in my case). would like to use different pictures of myself to distinguish between accounts as i have always done.

Please change this! Makes it so much more difficult to quickly change between accounts when I require multiple with the same initial for work. Clearly this is a common problem.

You have 6000+ people asking for the same thing. Dear Lord of Outlook , when are you going to listen and the issue to help your users?

I also have multipe emails for private and three companies. I would like to have the company logos as icons and a casual picture of myself for private. If that's not possible (why wouldn't it?) at least have me set the initials that I choose and make them three letters instead of two. And then let me set the colors. I would like to use the corporate identity colors of each company. Why is that so difficult?
