Ability to have all messages in threads collapse
The newest update shows all messages in a thread as open. I would like the option to collapse all expect he most recent message so I can more easily jump back to previous messages. (The way it used to be)
Emails in a thread are not in chronological order. I have to scroll up and down in a conversation and piece the various emails together to figure out the order in which the emails were received.

The threads in “conversations” are impossible to link I have repeatedly replied to an email in a thread only to find it has gone to a wider group of people and sent more of the thread than I intended
I do deals confidentiality is paramount / this is a crippling flaw
Please do the previous colored lines showing who got which parts of a conversation - there is no way of figuring out a thread
All the comments in this thread are relevant. Shame on Microsoft for releasing such a bad app. I get so confused trying to find the most recent email in a thread I’ve turned off the grouping feature until this is fixed. Are you listening to the end users Microsoft?

It would be great to be able to expand the conversation thread. Same as it works on desktop or W10M.
Now, when I want to make certain message unread I can only do it on whole thread, but not on one message only.
I don’t want to turn conversation off, but just want to be able to use it same way as on Windows10.

To be able to expand a conversation thread in the Inbox without having to open the thread, and by just taping on an expansion icon just as can be done in OWA or Windows’ Outlook client.

Provide an option to expand and contract email threads (conversations), so that we can select each one to delete/mark as unread/etc.
Currently, if we want to “mark as unread”, it gets applied to the entire thread, and it’s extremely inconvenient.
iPhone email app has this option, and to me the only thing missing in this Outlook app is that one option.

When receiving an email and I am part of the recipients and I am pressing on “more” button to see who are the other recipients, I don’t have the option to go back and un-expand the list so it is on all the screen (if I have very large list of recipients) and I need to scroll and scroll just to get to the message itself

Search function on gmail is far better
Title says it all. Threads in its current firm is so hard to get a sense of. Which message is received first/last etc. It's a mess.
I propose that you make it as it is in windows, easy to get an overview of, and easy to comprehend.
As it is now, it's more of a hindrance than a help.
Thank you in advance,

Need ability to read/unread individual messages in a conversation.
Also allow to jump to the next email in a thread without having to scroll

It was much better before the last so-called “improvement!” “Focused” and “Other” is just confusing. Collapsing email threads so you can’t see text and can’t figure out whether to scroll up or down makes it impossible to find anything.
After the update I seem to have two email programs and the whole thing is just confusing.
Stop “improving” things! Leave it alone!

Why would you add the feature to thread emails if you can't collapse them? This is beyond ridiculous and shocking -- well maybe not shocking it is Microsoft.

Dont group emails, its impossible to find old emails when they are all collapsed into one header on an iphone!
Each mail should be separate

Outlook Groups is to hard to find and I miss the dedicated app for IOS. I have a lot of folders in my inbox and Groups looks like one of them in the app and I have to look for it every time. Please highlight or feature the symbol so it’s easier to find
Compress conversation list and add ability to swipe each message similar to Apple mail or Edison.

#srsly no excuse for this lack of functionality.

Please stop collapsing emails. Creates so many issues and unnecessary complications for responding to particular emails, forwarding specific emails and saving specific emails when they are collapsed into one email. If there is one thing you can fix, please fix this!
