Allow collapsing of folders in Move to Folder
I have a lot of email folders. When I move an email to folder, I have to scroll through a lot of folders to find the correct destination. It would be great if I could collapse all or expand all folders that I want to look at. Also a type-in feature to find a folder by name would be equally useful!

Agree with everyone here. Being able to collapse folders is a must, for efficient use Outlook on mobile devices. Please incorporate this feature.
Mailbox folders should all be collapsed by default.
Email folders on PC can be expanded or collapsed and it is really handy for businesses that have multiple folders and sub folders. Having that feature on the mobile app would be very beneficial when having to search multiple folders with many Di folders
This seems like such an obvious thing!! Please sort ASAP Microsoft!
Moving items to folders, or simply opening a new folder in the mobile app is a pain because you can’t collapse folders. I have a folder for every “job” I do, and even jobs I just quote for...many of these become redundant quickly but I don’t want to delete them. Collapsing these folders would be a simple solution to having to scroll through hundreds of folders. A quick google search shows this infuriates plenty of other people too!
I organize my emails by year and project, with several other folders. This works great on desktop, however on the iOS app non of the folders are collapsed. Can this be added, it should be pretty easy to implement!?
This should be an easy fix!

What is the problem with adding a feature that collapses folders?

I agree with everyone else that it's ridiculous that you can't collapse folders in the app.
As most people have multiple folders with multiple subfolders it’s quit hard to find the folder if everything is expanded.
I’ve Googled a lot but can’t find anything but people are screaming for such.
This is extremely important as every time I open outlook app, I see a big list of folder list and I can’t collapse them so that I can only focus on important ones
Please just provide the ability to collapse subfolders so it is easier to browse to the correct folder. Other apps (Nine for example) have that option and you can actually type and search for a folder name to browse to. I’ll pay one million pesos for this.
It’s frustrating that I keep seeing updates for this app, hoping that this will get fixed, and yet it doesn’t; Microsoft keep asking me if I’m satisfied, and I’m not - once in a while I come back here and see that I’ve already ‘checked’ this item, and there are new comments from similarly frustrated customers, but no progress - very disappointing. I’d expect much better from Microsoft, on what is a key product for their brand (one I use extensively every day).
I have 100+ email folders and sub folders which works great on desktop. The mobile version does not allow to minimize folders taking forever to scroll and sort.
When an email is moved, the folders should expand after a short period of time. With folders always expanded it is very uncomfortable to find where to move an email.

This needs to happen. It is a nightmare to have to scroll down to get to what you want. Such an easy solution....Collapse all/Expand all option on folders
Come on Microsoft!!
I have approximately 50 main folders and many sub folders from the mains. Desperately need a collapse feature. It takes me forever to scroll down through every dub folder. Should be an easy fix. Its an Outlook staple feature.
For everybody who sorts his mails in many different task or person related folders (like me for work) it’s **** to have all folders and subfolders permanently opened up. Please add folder closing and opening to make it cleaner!
Pls pls, thx thx
Bitte, bitte, danke danke
Definitely necessary. Can’t use the app for anything but reading new email without it.
Its one of those Google things where you just shake your head and wonder if there not intentionally screwing with users out of some twisted form of spite. The side column nested folders are not collapsable in the app version. Really? I have never seen that in any other app. Been a SW Eng for 25 yrs. Downright strange and kind of pathetic. No way to raise the issue with output-only Google. If you somehow did, they would ignore it.
