iOS device storage management
Provide the ability to control the use of storage locally in the iOS device. Options could include (but not specifically be) :
- length of time for sync (e.g last n weeks, last n months)
- include list or exclusion list for folders to be sync'ed
- attachment sync - on or off ?
The Outlook app on iOS is consuming lot of storage space, around 1.3GB. This is a lot for one app. There must be an option to load only latest Emails in to the phone always, so that there app sizeis kept at reasonably. Additional Emails should be loaded on request by scrolling.
Make mail mb bigger maybe in suggestion like 100 or 150 mb so people are able to send pictures and videos in app without having to keep making the videos or pictures so small it’s not usable anymore

Increase storage and attachment capacity as well as add some more better graphics

Apparently, we receive no notifications for exceeding storage. I had to manually log in on a computer to see the notification, and wasted about an hour to completely clean my box out. We need this notification on the app, as well as an option to delete all e-mails instead of little “sections”.
Would be very helpful to be able to modify what information is synced to the iOS version of outlook. There is A LOT of information I want on my PC version of outlook that I have zero need for on my phone, and outlook is now consuming far too much of my phone’s storage at this point. It’s the top two user (after podcasts!). Not ok considering everything is web based. It has several times as much storage as Gmail, which I have much more stored in. I don’t want anything aside from the app saved on my phone. This is the only heavy storage user on my phone that I have no direct way of minimizing storage requirements (in a direct way)
So frustrated that I cannot just pay extra or use my 365 account’s OneDrive storage to increase the email storage capacity from 50GB. When I first signed up for the hotmail account, I was under the impression that storage is unlimited. I’ve been having issues and I just don’t see why.... It should be easier to increase my mailbox storage in outlook.com. I don’t want to have to use the apps. I want my emails stored on the server so I can log in from anywhere on any browser and access my emails. Very frustrating!

Currently my outlook app uses 600mb of which 400 is taken up by documents and other data. I would like to be able to see which docs and data and have the option to remove them. Otherwise the app will only become bigger and bigger.
A feature showing amount left and total allowed. Size iin account. Not sure of units of measurement

Mobile app should not block so much of available memory of handset as iPhone doesn’t have external memory add on feature.

Allow storage/organizational folders to collapse. They are all always open and you have to scroll through all of them every time you want to file an email.

Howdy Mike Dee here,
Sorry to hear space is so limited that your account no longer works properly.
I suggest, more free space.
Features a good working account, not worried about space.

Thanks for the service.
I will miss it, till I run out of space to remember I once had it.
Google did the same thing a couple years ago.
I stopped using it, and started migrating my account to another service.
Google has since changed their mind, and offered me 100GB of free space.
I tried it.
We not longer talk about the limited space issue-google & I.
Increae the mail box capicity

A lot of other clients allow users to limit the number of days to sync so that it cuts down on the overhead. This might help with the issue I had where it was showing I had unread emails but actually didn't.
Maybe my mailbox is getting full because I’m getting two emails a day telling me
Add the mail capacity and the free space available
