Privent changing the UPN login to the Primary SMTP
During the enrollment Intune with iOS the user adds UPN login information and this is working fine. After a certain period, the user has to change his password. Then the error appears because the UPN login name will changed automaticlly by Outlook App to the the primary SMTP Address. The user is not able to log in. As workaround the user can change the login information manually (back to UPN loggin) and this work again. This is really confused situation every time if the password has been changed the user have to change the loh´gin information first if this done the user can type password for successfully log in.
In some professional case, a business team are sharing a professional SMTP provider.
That would be a save time in the configuration process to simply add a stored SMTP provider link :).
I would like to be able to set up an IMAP email with custom IMAP and SMTP domains, without specifying an SMTP username or password. This is possible on the computer version of outlook, but the mobile app does not let you proceed until you have filled in those fields. My provider specifies to not enter anything into those fields, and so I am unable to connect mobile outlook to my email.
I fully agree. This behaviour is very confusing for the users and causes unnecessary Servicedesk work
