Please make the "read more" feature an option, not mandatory!

Please get rid of the “Read More” when reading newsletters and feeds, this opens another window to read the rest of the newsletter. Once done you have to close to get back to delete the email. Apple mail and Gmail don’t do this, why can’t MS incorporate this feature?

When clicking read more on a long email , you are unable to reply ... you have to go back a level to reply. It would be nice not to have to do this and be able to reply from “ Read More “

Also when clicking Read More on IOS App the “Select All” option does not appear.
I used it a lot to copy data to excel from the normal MAIL app. Now decided to try Outlook to see the friendliness- Read More needs to be an option not mandatory -

Any idea when we'll see movement on this request? On Android the user experience is SIGNIFICANTLY better. Can you please get the iOS app to match?
This is a major feature disruptor for Enterprises looking to deploy canned reporting via email where using the native iOS mail app is not an option due to security concerns.

I don't want to have scroll down the email twice!

We so desperately want this option of "read More.." gone, especially when the organization is sending reports to users so they can easily see it on their iPhones or Ipads, its really annoying when we have to click "Read More.." to see the complete email. Please provide this asap so life becomes easier for all of us, its causing **** lot of issues.

Why do I want our users to click on a Read More button? If I open on the e-mail wouldn't that mean I want to see the content?

Something must be done about the Read More for most messages. Extremely irritating !!!
I love Outlook for IOS but may need to switch to something else if Read More doesn’t get fixed soon.

Totally agree, useless feature and should be an option for lower screen resolutions.

Absolutely agree! This is one of the least user friendly designs I can think of, interrupting me in the middle of an email.

Please change the current functionality, where long messages are truncated and require clicking Read More to retrieve the full message. Thanks!

I can understand a bit why this button is there. And it would make even sense for really biiig mails to not blow up the memory. But after opening the pop up window it would be a great help to scroll to former position.

Have and option setting to enable/disable the “Read More” email text feature.

Counter productive, when tapped one has to scroll all the way down to the point where left off.

Extra steps to read all of the email. Plus I have to scroll all the down after tapping Read More.

For long emails, the READ MORE is an extra tap to to view all, takes more time & counter productive.

Good idea.

This is so incredibly annoying, and support just tells me "people don't read things on their phones", which is completely false. I know your team uses "personas" to figure out who cares about what features, but consumption is incredibly important for mobile scenarios. And I use Outlook only because my IT department mandates it, else I'd use a mail client that's actually capable of loading an email completely.

Please always show the entire mail, and remove the “Read more” link at the bottom of a long mail (which shows a popup with the entire mail). This is very annoying. Perhaps you can make this user configurable?

I find it very annoying that when replying to an email, you need to click on the arrows to open the entire message than click to load the conversation.
