Like computer version it would be really useful to be able to switch back to light mode in emails when tables etc are present so you can view.
“Switch Background” feature

Sun icon in message body to turn off/on “night mode” or in settings, there should be a white mode even when the iphone is set to dark mode. This makes it easer to read for some emails where it is meant to be read with a white background.

Sometimes some emails have with background with dark text. When dark mode is enabled, the background becomes dark and the signatures and texts are not clrearly visible.

Highlighted words that would show up in lite mode do not show up in dark.

You need an option for dark mode to turn on and off like the Facebook messenger app does

It would be nice, although I under it might make the experience less consistent, to turn off dark mode for specific senders. For example, to return an Amazon product to Kolh’s they need to scan the QR code but they can’t if the email is in dark mode. So if I had this feature, I would add Amazon as a list of senders to come in as light mode emails.

When you’re using Outlook’s desktop website in dark mode, there’s a button to render the email you’re looking at in light mode.
It would be useful to have this in the mobile app for those emails that don’t render well in dark mode.

Text in white makes eye very tiring at black mode, suggest to allow colour contrast adjustment.

Sleep mode is essential.
Furthermore, it's not sufficient to provide unlocking by face ID only. When it's dark, this method of authentification doesn't work, not even with an illuminated display.
I want all folders, and in my preferred language. I accidentally created an exchange profile, this had all the folders and them in German. When I switched to IMAP, for example Postausgang disappeared and the folders had English names again.
Problems occurred with exchange, my email wasn't sent.

This would be nice, though I don’t use my iPad a lot a night.

Dark mode emails kinda sucks. It should be like the Mail app in iOS. In other words, the body of the email should be with because they are concieved that way.

I have dark mode enabled, but there are times when I want to disable dark mode for a single message - I find this most frequently when people do a single copy and paste with excel files. I would like a simple toggle switch to just turn dark mode on or off quickly when viewing the message.

iOS has a systemwide method for this. Check your iPhone’s Display and Brightness settings.

Dear sir/mam,
First of all I would like to Congratulate your team on the successful implementation of dark mode which was very well implemented.
Nevertheless, I would simply like to suggest that if it's possible that you could sync dark mode with the ios system wide dark mode schedule than that would be great, in addition to your manual activation/deactivation of dark mode which you've already implemented.
A lot of other apps I use have successfully implemented auto dark mode already so I'm sure it won't be much of an issue for your team.
Thanks and Regards
Pankaj Kumar
