Ability to enable or disable accounts
I have few exchange server accounts that are sometimes unreachable (probably during maintenance) and during this time I keep getting popup request to set the password. What I would really like is to disable this account until the servers are reachable so that i can at least continue working with other email accounts. Because of this popup i cannot work with other accounts until the connectivity is fixed. This feature is also useful when i am outside the country and when data is expensive. I could disable the accounts that are not important and only download emails for accounts that I really care about.

I want to be able to not see emails in one account for some period of time. Like being able to disconnect the app from the mail server using a switch. Go to settings and toggle a switch to temp disconnect the app from the server on one or more email accounts.

Go to setting
Throw switch to suspend receipt of emails on one or more accounts monitored by this program
Meant to be a temporary switch used when away from ability to respond to requests
If you forget a password for an email account or an email account can't be accessed for what ever reason e.g down you are only given two options
I would like a third option to skip this screen or disable an email account until you are in a convenient place. At the moment you are forced to remove account then have to readd connection details manually. This is a problem as you can't see other email accounts until you complete this process.

Some kind of option to 'turn off' accounts individually (for example turn off work accounts while on holidays so you don't have to fully remove it).

Outlook offers the ability to compile mail / calendars. Many people use outlook for their work mail, and want to overlay their personal calendars without HAVING to combine personal email to the inbox.
Please add a feature like on iOS where you can opt out of adding mail and just add the calendar of a particular account.

Hello. It would be really great if we were able to turn off an email account if desired. For example, I do not want to see my work email on the weekend so it would be helpful if I could just turn it off on Friday night and then turn it back on Monday morning without having to delete the account and then adding it again.

The major complaint I have with Outlook for iOS is the behavior when when of my accounts or storage locations is temporarily unavailable. When this happens I am essentially locked out of all of the other accounts. Thus I have to either wait for the problem account to come back on line or delete the account. Neither of these options is reasonable or acceptable. The best solution as suggested by others here is to the ability to temporarily disable the problem account.
I would like ability to disable individual email, calendar, etc options like iOS apps allow. For example, I'd like to disable email from a Specific gmail account, while still being able to see the calendar from that account.

At times you might need to turn off an email account temporarily but not wish to delete the account and settings. While traveling abroad for work and not wishing to use data to download email from both work and personal, you can switch off email for personal email but maintain access to your calendar and contacts. Also if on a holiday you can turn off your work email but not have to contact your IT help desk to get account information to reconnect.

With byod becoming so popular and Outlook being the go to app… it would be awesome to disable an account while I'm on leave without having to remove it completely.

I want to have both my email accounts on my phone but only show notifications for one of them. For the other I don't want any notifications - the number badge or otherwise.

I would like to see a feature, where you can turn off the account so you don't receive emails while on holiday. Then having to enter login information again.

It would be better if u add a setting to subscribe & unsubscribe of my account. There are many followers which i do not want to see their email so it would be really great

My request is for a temporary switching my mail off during weekends or holidays as I do not wish to receive mail or messages from my office while I am free or out of the office.
I am sure such function will prevent lot of stress.
The mail in. iPhone has such function so should be possible to have the same in outlook

It is a indeed necessary to be able to disable an account. Either when it has problems or when someone just wants to be untreatable for a while.

Please add this feature. I'm tired of removing work account at weekends and adding it back on Mondays.
Option to deactivate an email w/o deleting account itself

When on holliday it would be nice to be able to disable my work mail. I would like to have my personale mail accounts active on hollidays, but just not my working account.
Right now I have to delete my work account, when on holliday.

Please consider the option to turn on and off registered email accounts.
This would enable users to, for example, turn off work email accounts over the weekend.
Add a feature that allows us to slide a switch and temporarily turn off the push/sync of email and calendar. Right now you have to delete the account or app to stop email from coming in.
