Font Size - Reader View
I've been looking at all the various requests for font changes and they're all marked as complete. But the problem still persists. Often mails are far too small to read, prohibitively wide or both. Even more frustrating is when you rotate to landscape it doesn't make anything bigger, it just gets wider.
It's quit likely the font sizing HAS been fix for some amount of formats. But for html mails, it can still be crazy small. How about:
An optional Safari style Reader View for all messages that strips all formatting and renders system font/size with inline images. Make accessible from a toggle in the message view.
An optional setting to make pinch/spread affect local font size and NOT zoom.
2a. An optional synthetic width to the "page" of the phone. Something that causes a soft wrap at the right screen edge no matter what. It seems to me soon of the small html font size is because it trying to respect some existing wrap point, maybe from a different device.
Either one of these could work. Reader View would be something I'd set as default. I honestly don't care about the original formatting in most cases if I can't read it.
It is hopeless at the moment. No ability to expand/contract text by pinching. Even Blackberry had an ability to enhance the size of text, years and years ago. PLEASE can you listen to your real consumers (not IT departments) and fix this massively overdue change.

Unable to read the small print on server’s email
Add an option to allow a user to adjust the font size of text in the email reading pane.
When receiving emails with super small fonts allow us to zoom it. This feature never works when i receive an email with small lettering. Whats weird is that its only the emails i receive from Microsoft Xbox purchases that come super tiny i cant read them or zoom it.
My emails are too small to see what it says
Could you make it not fit to width so that the text size does not become unreadable?
It seems like the Outlook app for IOS automatically adjusts the incoming email font to adjust to fit the width of the email. This makes some of the sender-formatted emails really hard to read.
Other mail receiving apps (e.g. Edison) adjusts the font so you can read without zooming in and so you don’t need to scroll left to right.
Could you make this change in the next update (seems like people had this issue for quite a time now).

Hi, there is no settings for font adjustment like size/design/color of font while typing mail body text. Pls add that settings. Thank you!

Please add a visibility functions to improve outlook, especially useful for the calendar: “Flexible font size” so users can select their favorite size for meetings and mail
text size of html mail is often difficult to read. kind of text mode with configurable text size would be helpful
The need: sporadically I receive email messages that are difficult to read because the font size of the sender is tiny. And there’s no way (I’m aware of) in this iOS app to increase the font size for a single message.
I can pinch and move the UI to make the message bigger but of course then I can’t see the entire message and scrolling back and forth to get a “zoomed in” message legible for reading is just dumb.
I give up and wait to read the email on my laptop.
If I’m not being clear iOS’s “pinch and zoom” feature is not sufficient in this use case. And we all know there will ALWAYS be sender apps that generate emails that don’t respect dynamic font sizing in iOS.

Would LOVE to be able to increase font size. The current font size is too small.
I care about the original formatting. Please keep that one
Can you add native font size for Apple Watch? No matter the font settings on my iPhone or watch, the text is tiny.

Would be really great! Reading mails without glasses? A dream?
Please consider giving us options in the way of fonts. Give us colors, sizes and styles...please! So many people would enjoy these great choices.
THANKS SO MUCH!
Agree with T. Miller, this doesn't work correctly.
Font size in some emails is ridiculously tiny. Changing my IOS text size setting has no effect.. the setting is apparently ignored. Happens especially with long "daily digest" emails from Yahoo Groups, for example.
Gmail and native IOS Mail apps both display these correctly, and DO respect the IOS text size setting.
