Spam folder: specific swipe options
Currently, if the user's swipe gesture is set to "Archive," the swipe option in the Spam or Junk folder is also "Archive". It would make more sense to have dedicated "Trash" and "Not Spam" swipe options just for the Spam folder.

When viewing mail in the Spam Folder, swipes left and right should have their own customizable actions! Swipe Left to confirm &/or report Spam (permanently delete). Swipe Right to mark Not Spam and move the message back to the Inbox (within the appropriate folder - focused of not) or Archive as normal mail.

When I indicate mail is not junk you should put it in my inbox when the same sender appears the next time. This is extremely annoying and time consuming.

The desktop automatically puts stuff in the spam file, which a lot isn’t actually spam. The same email comes through to my phone, but “no longer exists” when I go to open it.
It defeats the purpose of being mobile, if I can’t do anything without having to run back to the desktop

I am looking for a positive “not spam” identification function. Outlook on my Surface has this option (or had last time I looked). I need it made available on iOS. I am repeatedly having to check my spam folder for legit emails and on Outlook for iOS I have no way to specifically notify the app’s filters that it was NOT junk. Simple feature, already exists for Outlook on other platforms, please just translate it to the iOS version.

I have recently found, that emails I send often end up in the spam folders of my clients.
This is a major threat to my small business.
I do not and have never sent spam, but offer genuine legit service ONLY to people who get in touch with me. -

It is easy to swipe to delete and move emails from inbox and spam folder. However, it is difficult to designate genuine emails which automatically find themselves in the junk folder. An new feature could make it easy to swipe the email and offer an option of marking is as ‘not junk’.

In Outlook Mobile the junk folder is named ‘Spam’, yet in Outlook for Windows and Max, and Outlook Online it’s names Junk. In OL Mobile, when you clear the Spam folder, it shows a dialogue refers to the folder as the Junk folder.

I can’t seem to get messages that one in the spam folder to be added to my safe list and delivered to inbox. Have tried on web via PC and on iPad app. Makes email management a pain

Mark email as spam, move to Junk or Spam folder, then set the spammer’s email address to an ignore list where it will go directly to either the Junk folder or Trash (give options) or a Trash folder set to permanently delete either immediately or a set time (give option to configure).

When I put something into the spam folder, I shouldn't see the same messages over and over from the same sender. If I put it into spam, it's SPAM! Future ones should automatically go directly into the spam folder! I shouldn't have to waste time clicking and sending to spam over and over, again and again. Please fix!

I would like to see that you can choose the start up folder: main inbox or last visited folder.

Please, allow choosing default folder for spam mail in Exchange accounts. Same way like it’s done for ‘Archive’ and ‘Scheduled’ now.

I get a lot of legit emails ending up in the spam folder which is understandable but.......i have many personal folders and i have to scroll down many folders to reach the spam folder. Be nice if the spam folder was included at the top with in Inbox etc....or the option to sort folders.

why does the spam folder on the app seem to vanish from the folder list with each update then reappear.I have to keep switching to hotmail to block junk.

You need to create a feature that allows us to deactivate the Spam folder on the App. I am losing important client emails to this. I cant believe this was not included from the beginning.

When an email is deleted by spam ensure future emails from the spam sender are blocked

I have already been into settings to mark senders as safe but they keep going to trash. They are important daily work emails from the the senders each day and I have to keep searching trash for them.

Spam needs to be much stronger than it is now. I kept receiving the same fishing emails. It is time consuming and very and nerve racking to keep sifting thru. Tough to keep receiving the same emails day after day, after day.
